I have to say the razer ripsaw is absolutely terrible. I’ve owned one for years. Half the time when I turn my setup on it doesn’t recognize my Xbox, video doesn’t show up on obs, and even worse I constantly get no audio. There are ways to fix it but it’s definitely not as user friendly as elgato. Watching this video to try to replace it

i kinda agree, the first time i actually tried using it instead of just testing it, it started flickering without me even starting the game yet. i tried fixing it afterwards but now its not even displaying the console video when I connect it to my pc. idk if the flikering only happened to me, but yeah, its definitely not that user friendly when it comes to problems like that.

I find all razor products to generally suck balls. I bought a 3000 dollar laptop that was faulty right out the box. Which is crazy.

Bro same. It honestly made me stop streaming because the audio issues and God forbid I accidentally take a wire out the whole shit don’t work. But Xbox made it to where you can stream directly from the Xbox but I still need my overlays 😭

I had issues with mine at first but it was all solved by replacing the cable, buy a higher quality cable then the razer branded ones it comes with and you will see those issues go away

I have a Windows 10 PC and plan on streaming PS5. Which capture card can I get for about $100 or less? 🤔

the minimum recording resolution should be 2k at 60 fps at 200 usd otherwise not a great value for the money.

Are all of these capability with Usbc for IMac? And is it compatible with Streamlabs?

The elgato should cover your bases. I'll keep researching. Ideally I'd record from a ps3-5 to my MacBook -> edit & upload from there Theoretically I don't see an issue with opening stream labs or OBS & streaming your laptop display screen of the game recording

Ok question. I have a MacBook Air M2 16GB ram 512 storage. If I want to stream from my PS5 do I need to get a capture card? I know you can already do it through the built in ps5 features and record gameplay in 4k60fps. So what the heck do I need a capture card for? I’m just very confused what’s the benefit of it

So if you get a capture card it's much easier to make an stream setup with overlays in obs, that means that if you are wanting to stream like a professional you should get one, if you want to stream in 4k i would recommend the elgat hd60x but if you just want to stream in 1080p 60 fps you should get the nzxt signal hd60! Hope this helped

I’ve got the elgato hd60x but my gpu has display port but an active display port to hdmi doesn’t support over 18 bandwidth as I need over 50 bandwidth?

Try a splitter. I may be the easiest wat to do both of them. One signal to your capture card and one to your monitor. Good luck.

The nyx isn't good for high fps games on ps5, xbox or pc, It doesn'y capture hdr or 60 fps well I would only recommend for mobile or switch uses if you want something that will record your gameplay clean go with a higher end market brand Elgato, NZXT etc.
