    @@DiscoveringStrength I purchased a CAP Roman Chair off of Amazon...it hasn't arrived yet. I really liked the model you reviewed because of all the adjustments you could make, and storability. The "flimsiness" of it didn't deter me too much, it was more that it wasn't available for delivery in a timely manner...they're all going to be drop shipped from China. the CAP was available right away, and is a little more study looking, but loses the storability, and adjustment features. However, it's still the most adjustable than most of the other Roman Chairs / Reverse Hypers I've been looking into. I agree with how you've opened the video in stating there isn't a great market for this equipment. I honestly would love the Teeter Dex II, but it's out of stock, and more expensive. I'm looking for this type of machine to mainly relieve back pain, but also do some stretching, ab work, and dips. Thanks again!

    Awesome video! I already have a Rogue Reverse Hyperextension, but also wanted a standard hyperextension roman chair that didn't take up much space. This video helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I bought one under a different name (but it's pretty much the same) for around 100 AUD (which would be around 70 USD). I'm actually very surprised at how stable the one that I got is (it literally doesn't shake side to side at all like the one shown in this video - but I think I just got lucky). They only gave me one screw and bolt + 2 washers for the handles though lol. But fortunately I don't really need the handles and it's pretty much already all pre-assembled in the box.

    That's great! I think there would be a market for making a more heavy-duty version of this for around $200 or so. I would gladly pay that. This one has worked out just fine for me, but it just doesn't compare to my REP benches.

    I definitely get that. It's not the greatest piece of equipment, but it does get the job done for me using relatively low weight. If I could find a more robust option that still collapses I'd probably go that route but I haven't seen anything like that. I'm glad the video was helpful!

    Hi Greg, this is Alex from Spain. Thanks for the video, amazing info and very good quality. By the way, I need your help. I'm going to buy this product and, since it's foldable, I want to put it between a wardrobe and a wall. I need to know the measure of total height once it's folded. I need to know the measure of the Pad area, which is the heightest of the whole product once it's folded. Thanks in advance. Keep uploading videos like this one!

    Hello Greg. I just brought a back extenstion machine myself two weeks ago. Its asically the same thing , but has a different company. I agree with everthing you said, but it will get the job done. And for the price $91.00, & free shipping I love it. But within six months I'll hope to find one with the same or better configration as the one we both have that weight capacity is at the minium of 400lbs & more stable/tight. But for the configuration I was looking for it's better than buying something I wouldnt wanted to buy

  • @DiscoveringStrength

    Well it's not much different. I would think that the Titan hyperextension is better quality, but the problem is that the Titan model doesn't have the 2 pad design. It's just one pad which means you crush your balls when doing back extensions!😂👎 That's why I went with this one. It's not the greatest, but it gets the job done.👍

    I could imagine myself bracing it somehow and then doing dips on the handles. Possible? I'm about 150.

  • @DiscoveringStrength

    @DiscoveringStrength

    2 жыл бұрын

    Well it's possible, but I'm not sure how stable it would be for that. Maybe if you were to rest your legs on a bench and then do dips so that they're more like doing dips from the edge of a bench. I still would say it wouldn't be ideal.

  • @DiscoveringStrength

    No, I haven't noticed any foot discomfort. Like I say in the video, it's not the highest quality piece of equipment, but it does the job. I think the most weight I've used when doing hyper extensions is about 45 lbs. I think you'd be fine up to about 100lbs. Beyond that it may not hold up. However that's a lot for hyper extensions.
