Syd, when I read Piranesi, I found the world building was wonderful. The author did such a good job describing and letting the reader be part of the adventure and the beauty. The ending was also interesting, that blur of real life and being trapped in a world. Such an interesting concept. I have never read anything like that book. It's definitely one of a kind. I absolutely loved Piranesi, one of my top books this year as well! It's actually the only one from your list that I have read but about half of them are on my tbr already :D

Divine Rivals is my Book of the Year out of the 122 books I've read so far this year... And Part of Your World is probably #2... Currently reading Yellowface and absolutely loving it and that will probably be #3... Also just started Ruthless Vows and if that is as good as Divine Rivals then it might be #1 or #2(assuming I finish before the New Year) 🤗

Faithful and Fallen is top tier fantasy reading. So good. Glad I didn't have to wait years for the whole series to be done

I also loved tress of the emerald sea and couldn't stop thinking about it either!

I adored the Unmaking of June Farrow, really enjoy Adrienne Young’s books 😊 Also really enjoyed Bookshops & Bonedust. I was pleasantly surprised how good this one was. Really difficult to follow up Legends & Lattes, but it was another home run.

I'm so glad the Faithful and the Fallen series is getting the regonition it deserves, it's one of my favorite series of all time!!

I read the first three of the Faithful and the Fallen in 2023 and they’re my faves for the year also! I’m about to dive into Wrath, I just don’t want to be done with these characters-I love them so much. ❤

I DNF'd Elantris 5 times! But six times was the key and now it's one of my favorite Sanderson books. Lol

I plan on reading the faithful and the fallen series at some point in 24..i have to finish 1st law and asoiaf first..so maybe in the fall I'll start it

Scottish Gaelic speaker here, I started Fourth Wing expecting to hate read it after the controversy about her use of this minority language… oops I fell in love. It’s not a perfect book, but her world building was so engrossing.
