This video inspired me (and my wife) to wash our cars on this beautiful day and to my amazement my leaf blower did a great job drying the car! It's funny that I never thought to use it for that purpose before watching this video. I didn't use an Ego which I know would have dried the car much faster but hopefully in the future I will have all Ego tools for my yard and car.Thank you for this awesome video!

I got a Worx corded blower for $60. It puts out 600CFM and found a stubby nozzle for it on Amazon for $30, and then paid $10 for a 50 ft extension cord. That's just $100 and it punches more air than most of the cordless ones in the test. I wash my car right in front of my garage so the cord part just isn't an issue for me since I don't have leaves either. That Ego set up is awesome, green and all Doom Eternal BFG 9000 looking, but I'll see how this Worx does first for 25% of the cost all in. Great video!

If you're comparing 56V Ego, a 40V Ryobi, and Milwaukee's Fuel line (highest tier) blower, why would you not use Makita's 40V XGT model or at the very least the 2x18V model to make it a fair comparison? The 40V Makita leaf blower is a beast.

One problem we are working on is gravel on bike lanes and bike/ped side paths along roadways. It would be great if you could provide some info on possible use of blowers for this type of “sweeping” use, as well as any specialized nozzles, remote controls, etc. that might be of assistance in such use.

I would consider purchasing the stubby nozzle if it came with a flat-end attachment. I have such an attachment on my Worx and it moves water better as it hits more surface area. The only drawback is that the Worx is a little less powered. Maybe consider a flat nozzle and see how much better it will move water on a car's surface.

The stubby nozzles aren't even needed if you have a ceramic coating with good hydrophobics. Just take the factory nozzle off and use it that way. The stubby nozzles enhanced air speed will come in handy for vehicles that aren't coated though.

Would using a blower to blow sand and dust from a car (without washing the car) damage it’s paint? As I live in a desert like area where sand and dust accumulate over cars all the time.
