🔹 Goring Gambit chess opening - • Aggressive Chess Openi...
♛ Find the Goring Gambit variations shown in the video in this blog-post - chess-teacher.com/goring-gambit/
In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares with you the best chess opening for White after 1.e4 which is suitable for beginners; it works especially well below the 1600 ELO rating level. It is both aggressive and universal.
It is the Goring Gambit from the Scotch Game which occurs after the following moves: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.c3. White sacrifices a pawn for rapid development and a quick attack against the Black king, especially targeting the f7-pawn.
This opening is ideal for beginners because most players at that level know nothing about this opening variation. By learning this aggressive gambit opening, you will be way ahead of most of your opponents.

Although I am a 1. d4 player now, when I play 1. e4 I always play the Goring Gambit. It’s such an easy to learn, attacking opening and scores ridiculously high

I strongly recommend you to consider renaming all of your videos in past as well as in the future. For instance, this one could be named "Goring Gambit #2" or "Goring Gambit. Part 2" depending on your stylistic preferences. Same goes for Rousseau Gambit parts and many (or even all) your videos. It would make it easier to find them on your channel via "Search" button (even though I simply save them in specific folders but lets not forget about others).

You should be able to pick up on the patterns based on which moves the enemy decides to make, categorising things by "gambits" is not a good way to play chess, unless you're extremely serious and extremely passionate about the game. But in that case, there are much more efficient resources out there for studying openings, theory, gambits, tricks, etc. Content like this serves mostly as entertainment.

At 3:19 after ...Bg4 white's continuation is riddled with many problems, 1. Qb3 Na5 forking the bishop and the queen, there seems to be no good continuation after this, Lets consider Qb5+, after c6 attacking the queen and defending the black knight with Queen, white doesn't have a great continuation. While black is at a disadvantage when plugging in the position in analyzer there is no decisive advantage.

  • @tobias4411

Yes, d5 is best by black since all five available squares for the knight is bad for black. Always look for a counter attack when no good moves. Continuation: 8.e5 d5 9.exf dxc 10.Qe2+ Be6 (blocks) 11.fxg Re8 12.Bg5 Qd3 13.Qxd cxd 14.Bf6 and White is still slightly better.+0.50
