Best Beginner Baitcaster Lew’s American Hero

Lew’s American Hero Speed Spool casting reel from a beginner. I am not new to fishing but I am new to casting reel’s. I’ve been quite intimidated by them for some time and did not wanna deal with the learning curve that comes with it. I was researching another combo with my wife ended up buying me this one. As soon as I receive the item I immediately looked up the reviews online and was on the fence about the set up. Even though there were mixed reviews I did not want to return the combo without first trying it out for myself. As you will see in the video even with me being a beginner this combo is actually excellent gear and especially for the money that you will spend. I am very confident in this combo and look forward to catching a lot of fish with it.

Dude, my first caster is the same one. I've been practicing the past couple of days and trying to improve my cast as well. I'm digging it! I think it's a great starter set and you don't break the bank getting it! Left handed here, too!

Thank you for watching I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Yes I think it is a great beginner rig and it is funny because I am actually right handed but I use left-handed fishing reels. It had got to a point where I had gotten so good with this rig I had forgot how to cast the spinning reel. I haven’t been fishing in the last couple of months but I am very eager to get back out. Tight lines!
Nice video, you've probably improved by now but, you only need to leave about 18 inches of line between the end if the rod and your lure when you cast.
