Nice revisit on the pack. I’ve been telling Devin for a year now to make packs with that darn pocket on them! They can call it the Pelton pack… Lol. Good stuff man. Cheers.

I love my Mile! I find myself using it for everything, including overnights. Really simple and well designed. Well done Bryce!

Ive had mine for a while now and I absolutely love it. I use it for all my day hikes as well as just my everyday bag. My MILE was actually my first Waymark pack and after enjoying the quality so much I bought the Thru as well and Im in love with it. Cant get enough of the Waymark stuff!

Nice, I've been looking for a day pack/overnighter pack, i've looked just about everyone but Waymark. I'll buy two if they all come with a surprise beer in the mesh pocket!!! Thanks for sharing! -dave

I LOVE my thru 40ul but I really envy that pocket. I may grab one of these as I also don’t always fill the 40 on shorter trips too

Nice review. You have the 2nd Generation of the Mile. I own the first generation which is similar but is 30L in size, doesn't have the integrated foam pad on the back nor the zippered pocket. I use mine primarily for day hiking. It would also make a good overnight to three day trip pack but only if a bear canister is not required. I think the overall construction and attention to detail is excellent with Waymark gear. I have their fanny pack too.

I have the older version of this pack, and I wish I liked it better. I think the torso size is just too short, it makes the shoulder straps get uncomfortable faster than my other packs. It's built great though, and it's a great size for me to do overnighters. And Waymark's attachable shoulder strap pockets are awesome.

Make yourself some little padded sleeves for the belt. Dollar store craft foam, duct tape and a rubber band to hold it in place. If you want it to look nicer and you have the skills use fabric and a shock cord

Very nice pack would love to have this although it is way out of my price range. Seems pretty perfect for me.

The only issue I have with mine is the weatherproof zipper and its tendency to attract dust. I've had my mile for about a year too and the zipper has been hard to zip for a bit.

I have the same issue with the pack rubbing my back. I'm probably a little wider in the low back than you. Otherwise, really like the pack.

28 liter is perfect for day hikes...enough room for 3l of water, rainjacket, puffy, gloves and hat, camera, snack and so on... Overnight not so much...my experience.

I was half expecting you to pull a Mary Poppins scene with that front pocket and beers would just keep emerging from it. I’m testing out the Thru this summer. They just released an XS size and supposed to work better with petite frames.

I don't know if I'll ever be simplistic and ultralight enough for Waymark. Darwin using this kinda turned me off of it. Lol. I'm not a huge Darwin fan. Maybe I'd use this for a day pack actually. I just ordered the new Kakwa 40 from Durston Gear and I'm super stoked.
