You can use a fish tank heater to keep your minnow cooler from freezing.

Guday lads, ya a messed up weather we're getting here!! I've been waiting to drive the wrangler onto the miss at the boat launch... cant see that happening this year. I have a small apartment size freezer set up in the garage. I used a small pond pump thats kinda the same set up as you were saying you're gonna do. But ya it keeps the water warm and to warm for shiners. Just a heads up. Keep a eye open for a tall bearded guy on the miss and say guday. Tight lines

plug the frezzer in for one hour a day should keep the water around 60

Cat tails are solid enough loool

I like using plain cheerios. I put most of them on a string so theyre suspended in the middle. leaves less waste in the trap than bread, and most of the minnows don't get their fill eating from the outside,

@@fishingwtb5704 If you do, I recommend putting them onto a wire first and using that to feed them onto the string, else iit'll take forever.

Worked well, just needed a heater in the cooler to keep from freezing!

Poke holes in a can of tuna fish. Works great.

Dog food is my choice! Lasts longer. Bread does still work great!

those arent mud minnows those are called dace best minnows u can get
