I’ve had the Craftsman ash vac for a few years now. I bought it brand new from a hardware store. There has NEVER been sufficient suction and it’s a mess cleaning the filter. You need a powerful air tank and air gun to really get it clean. The resulting dust clouds are dangerous and I have to stop and start again to allow the dust clouds to dissipate. And lastly, the 3’ hose is a complete joke. It makes reaching into corners much harder since I have to bring the canister right up in front of the work area. Unfortunately these types of “review” channels tend to state their so called opinions based on user feedback only and therefore are completely relying on “their” opinions instead of testing each vacuum they promote. I couldn’t find it but I’m surprised there isn’t an Amazon link below where the site makes money for steering customers to their site.
