Any long term effects of installing am additional screen protector inside the Fold (on top of factory one). Just curious if the extra thickness causes any issues when folded over time.

How does it fit over the factory screen protector at the edges? The factory protector has a little space between the end of the protector and the inside edge of the bezel. Does it go over that little edge? If it's longer than that edge to protect all the way to the bezel, does it peel up over that edge?

This is why I am here, I am on my third Pixel Fold and it is exactly what needs to be remedied with this phone to prevent screen damage.

So did you pull off the factory installed screen protector on the inside screen, or did you install on top of it?

He did it on top of it but you can take it off just like samsungs foldables
Dobyou know will there be any insurance problems.when using a inside screen protector. When the box say dont use a screen saver and dont take off the pre installed screen orotector.

I wouldn’t take off the factory installed protector, I overlaid all the ones I tested and the good ones seemed to stay on fine. I also don’t know how they would know if you took off the aftermarket screen protector before you showed them the phone for the claim.

Ive got a Spigen Glass TR and now i want to swap to that Whitestone EA one since it had better drop protection
Ive owned zfold 2,3 and 4 ive had to replace the inner screen protector because the extreme cold would make the inner protector brittle and bubble up on the 2,3 Ive used ozero brand on Amazon no problems As for the zfold 4 haven't needed to replace it yet

I don't think installing extra screen protector inside is good idea, but you guys will find out later when something will happend...
