I have the sp110e, and to answer your questions: It only uses bluetooth, no wifi, it doesn't work with a voice assistant, and you need at least a 12v power brick to use it with more then 30 LED's

No not 12v specifically, depends on the led strip, ws2812b usually uses 5v power supply, if you put 12v on ws2812b you will burn leds!

Has the exact same functionality as the ledshop sp108e controller and app, just looks more refined. Is there any difference, for example does it have 5ghz wifi network compatibility, which is about the only upgraded feature I could imagine it logically having that would make it better??

what brand of led's are you using here? They look pretty good...

Im using WS2812b

was it delivered with a power cable? i wanna connect 5 meter led strip with 60 leds/meter. will it work? do i need another power supplie? what if i used 15 meters?

does this work with google assistent?

is there any way to individually address each light?

Yes, but only a few segments and static and this sucks.

@@Rahul-yy6iz I don't know if this is an option, but with the SP-108e controller you have much nicer effects. Just watch a video of it, it is hard to explain, wharlt effects there are, but they are definitly better then of the 110e controller...

How much amps for 60 leds per meter

1A for 30 leds so 2A for 60 , btw 1A will work just fine for 60 leds but with somewhat less brightness.

the DOS Agreed. I’m currently looking into what is sent over Bluetooth so that I can have my raspberry pi always connected to it which would allow me to remotely turn it on or off for like when I get home from work (I work swing shift). At least that’s the idea. This is like a several week project given the little free time I have

@@reyariass that's one way to do it. You can also power your strips on via audurino if you want to tackle that project. I didnt want to for my project, so i am just suck using this app. Good luck.

I've tried reverse engineering this specific RGB controller, to control via MQTT protocol. So far unsuccessful attempts. I wish there was a way to "unlock" this controller so that it could be paired with other apps on the Play store.
