I've always wanted to drive an Amtrak Surfliner Coach Baggage because you can really mess around with the horn, a good example is at 2:23

There’s something about Amtrak horns that no one else has. A lot of them are tuned really well, mostly on P42’s and Dash 8’s

I'm telling you, those K5LA's on those cab cars are something else. Literally music to my ears.
9:16. When 145 had a good horn. Plus when it was still around. Amazing horns. Edit 2019: 145 is back in service. It still has a non-raised letter K5LA, but it doesn’t sound as good...

I took an Amtrak train when I went to Chicago for a vacation. It was fun! The Amtrak trains move so fast. It was so much fun. I’m going back to Chicago this June for a band trip.

The P42's, F59PHI's, the Pacific Surfliner, the San Juaquin & Capitol Corridor cab cars all have great horn sounds. The train horn sounds I have always enjoyed hearing. When I travel by Amtrak & hear th horn sound, it's a great sound to hear.
