Save all your old bottles you can clean them out using the rubbing alcohol sometimes you need to thin down your inks before you even use them so I suggest saving the old bottles so you could just put a few drops into a bottle and mix it with your conditioner or your rubbing alcohol before you even use them and do a color test because sometimes the pigments are so strong that sometimes you need to thin them down before you even use them

I am so glad I came across your life now just got to figure out how to get the Ranger alcohol inks with your bottom I got to figure out how to get them like a good deal on them because I think in the long run the bigger bottles which I found out he now has are going to be the better thing to get in the long run I think it onto being out and up with his inks I’ll get smaller the little ones and then certain colors that I know I’m going to use more of I might get a bigger bottle in certain colors there may be some colors I don’t use it often so I might just keep the small one and get the bigger bottles for certain colors I don’t. All I know is I got to figure out a way to like get his inks but at a good price because his alcohol ink is pricey so I got a look where there’s a good deal. Or how to get it at a good price I don’t want to be spending an arm and a leg for it. Amelia Matt whatever you call that thing I need one of those but I might have to find a different brand I wanted to get the Tim I want to get his but no one really has his they only have the travel size. And if there’s anywhere online I could find the regular size one it was a little too overpriced I don’t think you make those anymore so I think I’ll you can get is a travel size and I feel like I am might end up wanting the bigger size or regular size so as much as I want that no one has it I think except for like eBay and a couple websites I’ve never heard of and they’re just a little too expensive for my taste. And honestly I should have like got it back when it came out but I honestly took a very long breakFrom making cards I actually took like a whole year off and I just a year maybe two years off can you just got burned down and it was starting to just not be something I was doing for fun anymore. I wanna see the Christmas cards Addison wanted to do like other birthday cards it mostly was Christmas cards sometimes I did birthday cards it was fun to do and then it slowly just got to the point where I don’t know what happened I just can’t I got burnt out of it. End it be there’s so many like different date and techniques like different tools and the different kinds of Brea and wanted to get but it all cost so much money and I would want people to say do you know when it came to making cards my crafting supplies I bought everything on sale clearance or I used a coupon I was not paying full price. When I make cards with my boyfriend everything we bought it was like we went to Michael’s and buy everything Black Friday sale or you know we used a 50 or 60% off coupon or a fight in the clearance aisle like you know or someone gave us an Amazon gift card and we will look at it be like OK let’s try to find some of the proxy one that aren’t too expensive that we can get on Amazon and use that gift card like that’s how I did it. Like I didn’t wanna be the person that a lot of money on that because I know making cards or any sort of crafting you do whether it’s making her scrapbooking whatever it can get pricey and I was not in the mood to pay those prices. I wanted to be frugal you know I want to stretch that dollar you know someone gives you a gift card whether it’s $15 or $25 for example I want that to stretch it you know I don’t wanna be like well I bought one thing for you know making cards with that gift card do you know no I wanna look at the item want how much is an on here and then look for the stuff I want and see which is cheaper and I kind of start with that and the more expensive things wait later maybe I’ll be on sale or you’re fired cheaper somewhere else I have to work on that that’s why I took a break. Because doing it with a hobby is great but it’s expensive like my boyfriends mom does scrapbooking computer Anantra also does it not on the computer at the old fashion you know with paper the whole you know just tell me the scrapbooks and she doesn’t that way the paper and all her supplies at Michael’s computer and it can get pricey she says I need something I never really like dabbled into the last few years because I love giving people birthday cards Christmas cards I’ve always been a girl that picked out the best you know card. You know even if it’s hard to say I miss you I was thinking of your Christmas or birthday and my boyfriends like maybe we should make them. His cards can get expensive part was like is it cheaper to just buy the card or am I saving my money by making it now your father’s supplies do you know discounted clearance or whatever great but in the end it just add it up so much and I need a break I was burnt out. Because it was like every time I got a 50 or 60% off coupon from Michaels which rarely I got a 60% off I was like OK let’s go get some stamps and let’s buy this with it I will get 60% off and will buy you know the inks for our stamps by Tim love he thinks alcohol inks I have never used before my life but I know the best brand is his brand I don’t know where I found out about him I was watching something on KZread about making cards because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and then I found a video of this guy and I was like hooked I’d like a guy who does crafting stuff doesn’t matter if you’re gay or straight that doesn’t matter it’s the fact that you’re a dude and you do that it’s a rare thing. And I start learning about him and I love his products but they are so pricey and I’m still new into the world of making cards so I don’t even want to ask for that stuff for like birthdays and Christmas I don’t even wanna ask her because I’m not so like consistent on making it I take my break and I have days are just like I’m done making cars I can’t do this anymore so I’m just like I don’t want to spend or have someone spell lame something that I’m not gonna get a lot of use out of so I try to buy everything in expensive. But yes Bethany I should asked for it birthday or birthday I should’ve asked for his media Matt but I never did now you get the travel size that I don’t know even though I only make cards I don’t know if I’d want the travel size. I have his travel size stamp platform that I bought I forget how many years ago I bought that with an Amazon gift card someone gave me I don’t member his birthday or Christmas I watch so many KZread videos and I don’t I still to this day don’t understand how do use that I tried it did not work the way it was supposed to supposedly it’s discontinued. At the time I do not have enough to buy the regular size for what mostly I did it was small crafting my cards so I didn’t feel like I really need the big one so I went with the travel size but like I watch so many videos and to this day I still don’t get how to do it I tried that it was three times maybe even four times and I don’t want you to know how do use it right. So I’ve never been able to get the stamp platform to work. But yeah I didn’t think about that since I’m new and I want it I get the supplies with the gift card my friend gave me but like I didn’t realize I didn’t think about that about needing a media Matt so you don’t get everything all over the table I was honestly going to Kraft Paper because it’s cheap but you can get a roll of it at like the dollar tree you’re not like brown paper to the brown or tan because sometimes people like to wrap presents in here you know there’s all kinds of things you can use it for I just say that to put on the table when I making cards so I can get like glue when I like make a mess on the table. That was what I was going to use when I bought the alcohol ink but then part of me is like wait a minute more I watch people use the mats the more I’m like you know maybe the English go through that so maybe that’s not gonna be a good idea. So I have to find something to put underneath I can’t afford one of those I wish I could if I had the money like I said I would love Tim’s media Matt the glass mat but that isn’t an option to buy anywhere that has it it’s too overpriced and I think it’s discontinued the most best places are selling the travel size so I have to get an alternative and I don’t know what’s an alternative for getting for now until I can afford a better one because I’m gonna need some thing and what I was originally going to use I don’t think will work it was just the alcohol will just Go through. Watching a bunch of KZread videos really wanna get this like a try this out it’s just a hobby or just something to keep me busy. Although if I don’t wanna make cards I guess like I do kind of like postcards you know they don’t in a sense where it’s just a really cool front and the back of it you could write something on it instead of doing an actual like card card if that makes sense. Instead of like folding the paper just don’t and then make it kind a like a postcard but not it’s kind like a postcard/card and one if that makes sense that would be a better idea I’m not a huge I’m still working on making cards and I suck at that I got most people that will get the card stock out make the Frey card stock or the actual paper whatever paper we use our or card stock I don’t like the front of the car beautiful and then we have to do the inside I’m just like not very good at that so maybe I can make them at the postcards I should see if any more do you does postcard postcard flash cards or no how to combine the two together. I should see if anybody does that make her own postcards never thought about that a quick little note we know vacation so do you want to send like a quick little postcard that would be a great thing to do then just to make a full on card because I like making cards but they are more time-consuming I feel like up who’s card would be way better maybe that’s what I should do I supposed.

I have one that is clumpy. I am not sure why. I can't remember off the top of my head what color but I take tweezers and pick the clumps out. Also the pearls have to be used with blending solution. The won't work with isopropyl alcohol. I hope this helps. I have another live stream where I play with the alloys, pearls, and mixatives. I hope it helps. Thanks so much!

@@Tiffany.Solorio I've been told that Kamar Varnish by Krylon is the only sealer that won't disrupt the alcohol inks. I just experimented with one of my scrap pieces of alcohol ink on glossy photo paper (I believe it's from Office Depot, naturally I can't find the box with the rest of the paper). It did NOT cause the alcohol inks to bleed, run, etc. It has dried and there was no change to the colors, patterns, etc. I've also been told that the Costco photo paper is excellent for alcohol inks. I don't have a Costco near me so have never tried it. All photo papers are not created equal. It's a matter of trying what you have until you find one that works well. BTW, I've used alcohol inks to alter dominos (basically similar to tiles) and sealed them with spray and then a layer of spray glaze. They came out beautifully and the colors do NOT rub off. I've worn them for years.

The glossy side of photo paper has a coating that absorbs the ink (porous) - you need a nonporous surface. You can use the reverse side of photo paper but it doesn’t work like Yupo. Please also be VERY careful about protecting yourself from the fumes. You can find yourself getting dizzy and it can cause serious health problems. Many people use special respirator masks. Work in a well ventilated area.

So I just recently came across your KZread channel and I’m just starting to get into alcohol in an air blower I don’t have alcohol ink yet. I’m trying to figure out like what are good brands to get because I would love to get to him his brand but it is pricey and like no one ever really has good deals except for JoAnn I’ll like none of the stores by me ever have that his links in stock and online you got a pay you know if he yeah pay shipping I mean you know or spend 50 bucks. And Michael’s they’re overpriced and I haven’t gotten any good coupons from them other than like 20% off and then hobby lobby doesn’t even do their 40% off coupon anymore so it’s like I don’t know where to get a good deal. Because I would love to do his alcohol inks I actually have his ink pads and I love like stamping all my cards and stuff his ink is the only link I have my stamp stuff like cards I have as many stamps are usually got them when they were on sale or there was like a 50 or 60% off coupon I am one of those crafters who is very frugal I only buy something when it’s clearance on sale or there’s a coupon I don’t wanna pay full price. I wanna say crafting I’m one of people that would love to be a crafter growing up as a child I wanted to be that person I would watch like the crafting segment on HD TV or whatever channel that is back when I was a kid that used to have like crafting segment I don’t know if they do that anymore on that channel the home and Garden channel I think that’s what it was HGHG TV there’s three more crafting on that station I don’t think there’s much anymore and I wished I was one As a kid. My mom used to have this like a covert and open up and used to be slightly neat and then I got into it and it became messy random arts and craft stuff paper scissors all kinds stickers all kinds of things are used to get into it and pretend I was one of those people on the TV show I like teach you how to use a different crafting things are used to want to be the kid who was into that stuff I don’t have a crafting bone. Like I’m not really artsy I do make cards they’re not that fantastic I actually do that with my boyfriend who actually has a crafting bone when I say that he’s very artsy like he gets that from his mom because she did she does scrapbooking and she wandered a few years ago I forget how many years now it’s been I want to say it’s been over like three years now since we’ve been making cards and she wondered how he did that she does all my idea was mostly you and he helped a little I was like well it was mostly him and I helped a little. It’s like you did scrapbooking As he was growing up how did you why are you surprised he didn’t learn some of that from you technically. So he gets it from his mom I mean he doesn’t think he’s that great but he’s actually not bad. And then of course I had a few friends that are like oh you can totally do these and sell them I’m actually terrible and not even that great to sell if you saw them you would think they’re that great to sell but I had some so one of my friends her grandma that they were that great but they really weren’t. So alcohol ink and the whole tool that your air blow I ended up canceling and I just went with the Tim’s air blower thing because that looks a lot nicer and I don’t want to get something cheaper even though I’m a newbie and then regret it and I want to go back and maybe an Amazon no longer has it or better yet do you know if they have a gift card that my friend gave me for my birthday I figured I might as well just cancel that and order and then just you know splurge it looks like a great tool to use and if it doesn’t end up being used like I try alcohol ink some point and I end up not liking the whole blowing The ink around if I don’t end up like doing it it’s still a great tool you can use it to clean electronics or it will come in handy. But now I got to figure out like what type of paper like card stock I bought this one card stock it’s a mix it’s white I think is the color but I didn’t really pay attention to the reviews and I bought it already supposed to come today and the review say it does it absorb the alcohol ink very well. So I don’t know white white card stock I just need white card stock but like I don’t know what’s great for alcohol ink because even Tim has alcohol ink card stock and people were complaining that it doesn’t absorb the ink really the alcohol so I don’t know what to get. Like Amazon didn’t have too many options and what options Amazon had there were mixed reviews like some people liked Tim’s alcohol ink white Card stock I need white card stock that is good for alcohol ink like I technically have card stock but I don’t think it’s meant for alcohol ink so that something I need to think about. I may have some other kind of paper I can use for cards like to put on the front of the car that would be great but I’m also use card stock so there’s that sometimes I will use like paper on the front the car like papers and I was the card stock I’m learning different types of paper different types of card stock and learning stuff and you can’t just use any type of paper or card stock for alcohol ink which is something I’m very very new to. But I haven’t like seen anybody on KZread like you were card stock for alcohol ink they use is kind of plasticky paper I forget what it’s called and that’s great but I wanna do these for cards so I’m trying to figure out what is good for that and get my bang for my buck and I would preferred to buy on Amazon because my friend gave me a gift card and I finally decided you know I had the time lost my job here ago and you know have done some seasonal work here and there but like since I have this time I might as well get into this whole alcohol ink air blowing thing that I’ve been wanting to do like it’s something I’ve secretly been wanting to do I just never wanted To spend the money to do it and someone gave me a gift card like you know what I’m gonna try to do this in my spare time. But now I don’t know what kind of paper I thought Tim’s alcohol ink card stock white they do have black and another color but I went with White but people have mixed reviews on that so I got a find a different kind of card stock but there wasn’t too many options on Amazon
