Hey Gabriel, thanks for this informative video. I was wondering approx how long does one npf 970 battery last on that setup when charging camera and feelworld monitor at the same time?

Hey. Thank you! Glad you like my video. It really deepening about the brightness of your monitor, the framerate you shoot etc. I used it at events and It last about 3-4 hours. For me if more than enough. I just want to avoid the V mount 😄

Love your video’s especially this idea to power via NPF batteries. I have the a7iii. Can you supply a link to the usbc cord to camera that you use? What about the cable for the monitor?

Hello! This is the power cable: geni.us/7miE6 and the usb C is a classic usb C to usb C from a HDD or something :) Nothing special. Thank you and I am glad you like it :)

If you want you can add a USB C dummy battery and connect it or power the camera with an USB C.

Not quite sure where I am going wrong trying to copy your battery setup. I have the same adapter you do only difference is two things, one being the red button when held does NOT turn on the adapter, I can only click it and it shows battery level for 3 secs then shuts off but when I connect my USB c cable to it and then the other end to my camera, THEN the plate has an orange light on the back that lights up but it wont turn my camera on and I have no idea what I am missing. I have a USB-C to USB-C, the same smallrig plate + Batteries you have. What am I missing? I thought the battery since its connected via USB-C would take the juice from the battery and give it to the camera but apparently it doesn't and I am not sure what I need to buy or do to get my ZvE10 to work like yours. Can you see where I am going wrong?

@@GabrielVIP That's the weird thing. When I hold it, no light turns on but if I click it shows battery status/available charge. It has a LED Light on the back and when I plug in the USB-C cable to the adapter and then the other end to my camera, that LED light on the adapter turns orange which indicates it is now on instead. I don't know if I got a defective one or something. When I turn on my camera doing this (with the default sony battery) and it shows my battery is charging as its on which means that yes, the adapter is working but it just doesnt power my camera alone and needs a battery inside the camera and then it charges THAT battery instead.

I understand now the problem. The camera is not working with USB C without the battery. You need to have the battery inside. If you want to power it directly from the NPF you need a Dummy Battery. You can't power the camera without a battery inside.
