I would like for you to go over Ryzen Mobile's naming scheme. Within 7000 series, there are huge differences in CPU performances due to the underlying architecture of the CPU. - The CPU of the Victus you have is named the R5 7535HS. The number "3" in the CPU name signifies that the CPU is based on Zen3+. - The CPU of the Budget Acer laptop is called the R5 7520U. The number "2" in the CPU name signifies that the CPU is based on Zen2. This would create a performance differential, since the Zen3+ microarchitecture is faster and overall better than the older Zen2 CPUs. (Not to mention that the budget acer laptop is a U series CPU, so it would have a lower TDP and would therefore be even slower) *Just because it's a Ryzen 7000 CPU, doesn't mean it's built the same as a different Ryzen 7000 CPU.* Be careful. You also forgot to mention the 6 GB variant of the 3050. Nvidia recently released a refresh of the 3050, but with 6 gigabytes of VRAM. This helps the 3050 in titles where it is limited by VRAM. Some new gaming laptops have the 3050 6 GB. Also, uh, *the Victus you show in the video with the i5-13420H and the RTX 3050 at **6:19** does NOT have 4 gigabytes of VRAM.* That model is using the refreshed 6 gigabyte 3050. I am typing on that very laptop right now and I can guarantee you that I have 6 gigs of VRAM. Might want to correct that. Not trying to be belittling, just trying to offer constructive criticism.

@@TakiyoYuki Yes, you should use the omen gaming hub with any victus model. Does your Victus have a 13500H? Because mine only has a 13420H. Those are different CPUs, and therefore the battery life may differ.

@@TakiyoYuki Yes, the adaptive battery optimizer setting in the BIOS does exist. What adaptive battery optimizer actually does is fake the maximum battery capacity of the laptop in order to prevent overcharging. This feature will only really be used when you're plugged in a lot.

I'm a dad with two boys (9 and 11 years old). They want to be able to play fortnite. I bought $200 laptops for school this year that barely load a website, much less a game, so they definitely need an upgrade. I just want to make sure that they could do school work and also play fortnite on it. Whats the best $600 or less laptop that could do that easily for a few years without a ton of upgrades and stuff? Idk much about all of the fps and whatnot. Thanks so much for your help!

For that budget I'd honestly recommend you to buy them a PC, Laptops honestly don't give good performance compared to pcs. 600$ can easily get them a build that they wont need to upgrade for another 3 or 4 years.

@@msmsmsms4262 It's no problem, I'm happy to help, but for the pre-built Im not really sure about where you are from and stuff. But I can give you some recommendations for the main parts. Rx 5600xt, i3 12100f, 16gb ddr4 3200mhz Rx 6600, ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x. 16gb 3200mhz RTX 3060 , i5 11400f. 16gb 3200mhz. you can still look at some big youtuber's videos to figure out a better recommendation than mine. Hope this helps you go at least in the right direction.

@@msmsmsms4262prebuilts are generally more expensive because the companies behind them put a big markup most of the time. But if you aren't worried about that then u can get a solid prebuilt pc at 600$
