    Thank you for the video. I see this glue recommended a lot and now I understand why. It looks much easier to use than superglue. Are there similar glues that u don't have to order from China? It looks like regular silicon glue.

    I did not realize you have to let B-6000 cure for over 24 hours in fact it says online 48 hours, my screens kept coming away from the phone frame so read up on it, I put the glue on the frame let it sit a minute or so then place a weight on the screen (not too heavy) then let it cure.

    four rubber bands, two horizontally and two vertical is all you need. more rubber bands if you wish. keep them on the phone as long as the glue takes.

    @@duaneafields Spring clamps work the best. Especially the ones with little suction cups on the jaws. They're the best for phones that have a rounded back like the Sony XZ2 for example

    Yes. It's the same. But only for repair When the edge pops up.

    no because its a silicon adhesive so once you put the glue to the sides of ur phone then immediately put the screen and apply some pressure

    No you dont. It is not a "contact glue". If you wait, it will begin to cure, so, carefully apply and put the parts together. I usually put the phone between a couple books and put some weight on top and leave overnight. If your phone is in a tight case, that could work too.

    is that shit so thick like it seems ? I have a tube of B-7000 that looks exactly like that making it hard to keep pressing the tube to squeeze the stuff out....

    e6000 is actually the main brand of this. b- f- or d- or whatever letter in front is a knockoff brand.

    That's what I have, and it's really not great. It doesn't activate by heat and it doesn't stay well.

    @@Yume_Val Have you tried clamps? I wouldn't go super aggressive but enough to squish the screen or back glass in place so it doesn't pry the glue upwards.

    I tried with b-7000 but must say am very dissapoted as it did not glue the glass on the mobile and I did do it as instructed. Now I am looking at better alternatives.

    @@frenkstih643 youre supposed to let the b7000 cure on the frame for 3-5 minutes before attaching the glass. then clamp it down by using c clamps or press it down with big books for AT LEAST 24 hours.

    you gotta be careful in rain as these types of adhesives are like silicon and provides adaquate water resistance when used properly, a regular adhesive may keep it together but water can get it.

    So say you use this and find that months later you need to change the battery or something in the phone. How do you remove the glue. I mentioned that it easy to remove a few moments after applying it but what about months or years later?

    youre best of using 3m tape not the glue. From my experience the best way to take off batteries is by pouring in so isopropyl alcohol under the battery using a syringe and then heating it up . its way more effective than just a heatgun/hairdryer/heatplate.

    Not good for Xperia or galaxy. Screen lifts. Not a strong stick to glass. Hardware store silicone works better

    @@inso5078 yes. Sure. I guess with experience you know where to put tape and glue together with heat and clamps and it gets better the more times its done.

    @@Swenser First you need to clean the edges of the screen and frame with isopropyl alcohol to degrease it. Then you apply an even line of glue around the frame and hold it together using clamps so that the screen does not move when you press on it.

    @@inso5078 yes clean. The only thing I can imagine it's that there a high grade 7000 and those that look the same but come from a bodgy factory. and I'm receiving the bodgy one. I wanting to start using epoxy two part for a permanent bond being careful of leakage That's the sacrifice. Good bond v . not removable. Possible leakage to lcd

    I'm planning to open up an Xperia Z Ultra cause the power button doesn't work. Looking for ways to fix it and opening it is the first step. Putting it back together though, would you recommend the B-7000? 🤔
