Swapping out a single NEP select 12” for a CT sounds tropo 18” on its way and building a ported box for my 2001 extended cab. May just remove the rear seat since the box gonna be like 5-6 cubes. Just running a little RF prime 500 rms amp for now at 2 ohms see how it sounds but ive heard the tropo can take up to 1K and with box rise thinking about the RF prime 1200 next.

we have a type of junkyard called pull a part you can go in there and grab anything you need I took a battery tree off of a truck can’t remember what model Chevy it was but it’s plastic and all I did was take my filter box off my truck and use some self tapping screws to the Air filter bracket for the second battery And I used the foam I think it was 6mm foam off eBay for the roof And the bracing that goes across the roof are used a can of foam inside the bracing

I got 2 skar audio 12s in a prefab box in an extended cab like his, and they fit pretty well in there with the seats out. it sounds pretty damn good too.

it really depends on the subs too and what they are tuned to. I learned higher Hz tunes sound better under the seat facing up while lower Hz tunes sound better facing you or pointing backwards even. just my personal opinion...

You can either use self tapping screws or regular stainless steel screws I drilled holes and put stainless steel screws

You could take the back seats out and build a wall and have 8 12s in it or see about 5, 15s or maybe 6

Yeah, that’s about the most bass you’re going to get for an under the seat box that way everything is out of the way and you can still use your backseat

Don’t go with sundown go with soundqubed subs or affordable better and can handle more power that’s what I have now been have them more 3 1/2 yrs on a 4500 watt amp 👍👍
