Another great one is persona 3 portable for the psp, amazing rpg, and it runs perfectly on 1x resolution

The whole Dreamcast library works very well with Batocera Lite, and harder to run games like WWF No Mercy run smoothly too. It's a lot more powerful than I expected!

The GBA pixel stretch on these 3.5" screens kills meeeee. Still getting one though for other stuff lol.

Yeh I dunno why he chooses games that aren't made for the screen ratio and he stretchs them all, I'd be playing only old home consoles on this, mostly PS1

Wave racer 64, it’s sooo smooth on this device.

You can fix the PSP scaling in the settings back to to 16:9. Dunno why Anbernic stock firmware always stretch them by default in the PPSSPP settings.

Do you need to tweak it inorder to play nintendo games?

Can you trade pokemon with these devices with other players? A friend of mine and I miss playing Fire Red and Leaf Green, and I haven't found a solid answer to this.

the Anbernic RG35XXSP is a similar device that is designed for GBA games (though it can play any games the device in the video can, as it runs on similar hardware and software) and can link up with other RG35XXSPs over wifi.

I disagree a little bit. Diablo 1 (DevilutionX) on 640x480 screen is the best way to play Diablo 1. And that’s amazing

I didn't have any of these loaded on my device I'd have to do the rom and put them on it

i tried metroid prime Hunters for nds, adjusted all the controls. left and right thumbstick work like a traditional first person shooter, dpad to control the cursor and etc. It actually works pretty decent

So the ds games play well but you have to download and install koriki so use a different micro sd card or lose the stock os and games that came with it. Koriki is in alpha still so very buggy and slow especially turning it on. And you’ll have to download games yourself and put it in the correct folders etc. same for n64 or 3ds games. It’s fun but if that sounds like a huge headache or you’re new to this maybe just enjoy the other games it comes with including Pokemon fire red, leaf green, emerald, pinball etc

Check cdromance, normally the handheld comes stock with the pokemon games but if it still doesn't have what u want it check the site

Pokemon platinum and white run kinda shitty even after I've tweaked it abit, over had no problems with pokemon emerald

where do you download the games?

So between the rg405m and this, what is the difference? I have the 405 and I'm in love with it for its metal shell and all the games it can run, but I'm seeing this device all over the place lately

rg405m has a little bit better CPU and 4gb Memory(compared to this has 1gb) and the gpu is a little better but still subpar for the price where as the RG35XX H is worth the under $100 mark. even more so it's sub $50 USD on Aliexpress.

Can you not adjust the PSP emulation to scale down instead of squish?

gba, gb and gbc pokemons games work better than ds games since you don't have to change the screen to choose your moves. Other ds pokemon games work just as well as hg / ss

Put the SD card into your computer and drag and drop the roms. Or just connect the device to your computer with a usb c cable. There are plenty of videos to show you how it’s done.

I just got a different model of the same device and yeah you have some games but it looks like its better to do a clean install a new micro sd card and a couple of more things

HG and SS are not pre installed but you a just install a rom onto a sd and not the sd in the device and there you go. The device does not come with Mario games at all as well. But if you have an extra sd(or just use the sd the device came with) you can put the game on it

Well it's not quite the same. RGB30 is 1:1 screen and has a terribly cheap build quality that has obvious cost savings. Whereas Ambernic builds good quality devices. It's also cheaper than the RGB30.

For that momey Get a retroid pocket 4 plus or anbernic rg 556. It can even play most ps2 and gamecube games.

it is wise to up the sd to 256gb and add ps2 emulator and games? can it handle it? or just stick to 64gb sd and dont bother adding games

No emulator is going to come with those pre-installed. You would need to add them yourself.

Some of them, yeah, but a lot will be laggy on it. You can turn on frameskip to make them run smoother but if you're looking to play PSP games it's best just to get an old PSP load roms on to it. There's guides on how to do it
