@Oldsoulstuckinabadtime duramax uses glow plugs too in fact Cummins engines use glow plugs in the 5.0 found in Nissan titans, so maybe this guy was thinking of another 'junk' Cummins haha

My old 83 Datsun truck did this when starting up first thing in the morning. I never had to replace the starter. The sway bar links were the first thing to go.

Even then dodge uses gear reduction starters. They use far less power. And they put out alot more torque. However they cost more. My dad would take a dead battery from his chevy. Pop it in his truck and it would start.

@@ArtemProsto2 в плюсовую погоду при наличии хорошей компрессии без прогрева форк камер свечами солярка хлопает на ура.Три года отбарабанил на дизельном джипе,летом вообще свечи накала не грел ни разу.Стартером крутанул и от компрессии все запускается на ура.

THEN he can think about maybe brodozering it out even further, or making a pre-runner that'll never encounter anything rougher than a railroad crosing, whatever. If it runs like shit it's gonna be shit no matter what facade it gets. Make it run right THEN make it custom.
