I'm planning to buy that bike bro.. SF with MotoGP edition looks stunning but the only thing I'm worried about is the seating comfort for the ridder and pillion

I guss the Suzuki is the best among all, buying in a decent 27ps of power and less complicated motor also has a low seat hight, comfortable ergonomics and packs in a good package incl the loaded instrument cluster, less on pocket along with a Japanese Tag.

@@navprabhatverma5533 agreed... Dominar 250 is advanced in terms of features, it has an advantage of Slipper clutch, liquid cooling, upside down forks, triple spark plugs n a bigger tank. I have rode them both back to back. Bajaj cannot even come close to the Japanese engines when it comes to smoothness n reliability. Also, liquid cooling which u say, cools the engine, n the same is done by "ryuyo"(Suzuki's own technology) whch is making light weight machines n the 1st oil cooling technology for a 250cc performance bike.

I agree... before i bought my duke, the bajaj & KTM showrooms are adjoined where i live and i test rode them back and forth.... i am upgrading from my father's 150cc motorcycle, hence granted even the Dominar 250 seemed impressive and the Dominor 400 felt phenomenal....but after i test rode the Duke 250, i mean lets just put the Dominar 250 out of the equation first...don't get me wrong...Dominar 250 is the biggest VFM you can get in any motorcycle, but i had the budget to flex, and after riding it's older & bigger sibling, the dominor 250 just vanishes out of the equation...so now to settle between the Dominar 400 & the Duke, let me admit it straight away, the Dom 400 is a better VFM product, its faster and yes it has better LEDs and to put the cherry on top, it's even cheaper than the Duke 250 making it the ultimate all rounder....but, my friend...i don't know what it is...once you ride the Duke 250, be it the handling, the looks and hence the oomph that comes with it..the fit and finish and thereby the built quality.....i can't exactly point a finger on what it is, but the moment you ride it, it just puts a wide ass smile to your face, all that practicality and VFM quotient just fades away, for me at least it felt like that click moment, i gotta own/ride one of these or i'll not ride at all....thats the magic of these KTMs...and i swear i am no KTM fanboy...we have had honda's in our family mostly...the dom 400 is mighty mighty impressive and a better value proposition, but if value is not what you're looking for, but rather character and excitement, then the Duke sweeps you off your feet like no other... sorry for the long read, i got really passion driven to tell my tale... have a nice one, cheers!!!

Gixxer is best Dominar 400 would be a better option Honda should be back with 250.. it was one of the best bikes in tje segment

I had duke 390 for a year, it was too stressful riding. Sold it. Now booked Gixxer 250! 👍 for Suzuki’s reliability!

I own the FZ25 BS4 n I still think it's BS6 avatar being the cheapest by far in the class is still the best value for money in the class..

I myself would like to take back my statement after I saw the BS6 prices!.. 1.52 Lacs ex showroom is much more than what I expected it to be!!.. I expected the bike to cost not more than 1.42 Lacs in BS6! Now the Gixxer250 BS6 is hardly 15K ex showroom over FZ25!.. Therefore the Gixxer250 is a better pick over FZ25..

I own a Cbr 250r For Me its Everything ❤️ Im not a speed freak but i have done a top speed of around 156+ What i love most is its smooth engine 🤗 Cant even understant wheather the engine is on at around 80-90 speed 😇

Suzuki Gixxer 250,. I don't wanna break my head with liquid cooled engine and its over-ring for coolant pipe out let,. Thanks to Suzuki for choosing a oil cooled engine instead of liquid cooled. I heard that Suzuki is the one who found oil cooled engines. I'm not sure. This engine has separate fan for this oil cooler (radiator) which is great I think 🔥

That's the case with Ktm RC as well. Even if you buy a 390, you will be seen as a squid who has a 200 or 125. But people aren't at fault. Ktm should have made some visual changes for 200 cc or vice versa

Fz25 for me :- cheap,comfartable, reliable, beautiful, and have more than enough low and mid range .(i would have been satisfied with any 150cc given any had 16+ ps power and dual channel abs)

@@manojkumars995 mt 15 has single channel abs also its pillion seat is rather unusable. R15 thought is perfect bike with only problem being overtly committed seating position and pillion seat is i guess even worse then mt15 . also when i was talking about 150 i meant normal 150s 😅

I am confused. Video on husqvarna on the official channel says 31hp. Then and some others too say its identical to the duke 250 at 29/30bhp. Whats going on here.

Duke 250 It makes better sense as im upgrading from Fz16 v2. Fast, light, and an ample fuel tank. Cant wait to get my hands on one when the lockdown is lifted.

Duke - expensive and costlier to maintain. Gixxer - good bike but poor service support. Dominar - good for long tours lack of some features. Fz - under power in this segment. In my opinion.

Although we got many options in 250cc segment, no major brand except Suzuki are interested in launching fully faired bike. Gixxer SF 250 is the only option. But it won't make you regret your decision.

Duke 390 is not meant for off road. But Duke 390 Adventure can handle the bad roads and quite off road also. But if you want hard-core off road machine, you go for Himalayan.

2:40 The Gixxer is oil cooled so it’s better than a liquid cooled motor? Am I missing something here? Oil cooled is liquid cooled because oil is liquid! Right?

I own a FZ 25. It's a two year old machine now. Decent performance bike with wallet friendly one. It took me to the distances without any issue. When comparing to the rivals inthe segment , this is an entry level.

Yes.. you can hear the tappet sounds once you crossed 80+. It's not an issue. Headlights are pathetic I agreed. I have covered almost all the south India with this basic instrument cluster. It may be a polished commuter, but it repays you with 40+ mileage and very minimum maintenance. I'm happy with FZ25

Dominar 250 shud have been under close to 160kg. not a gram more.

250s will be substantially easier to maintain. We dont have much options in the 400-500 cc and they are expensive too

SF250 Moto GP switch wud be ideal.. What the Gixxer250 engine has that CBR250 lacks is bottom end grunt n excellent driveability.. CBR250 is a dud below 4000rpm which is irritating..

I think we should concentrate on what we want to do with our bike most of the time than an occasional needs. Most of us don't race with our bikes. These figures are only part of the story. If you use it for long rides look for comfort, reliability and perhaps fuel economy. Buy the most pretty looking one if you just want impress others. Ultimately it's a personal choice. Most bikes are more capable of what an average rider can make use of. People have travelled around the world in Honda CD90 even. Best thing is to use (rent or from a friend) each bike for what you want to use it for before you buy. Eg. Going on a long ride (though this is not possible all the time)

The Duke250 weighs 171kgs kerb!.. It's not 146kgs dry!!.. The BS4 Duke250 itself weighed 166kgs!!.. So the Dukes are no more the light weight bikes they used to be once.. Even the Duke200 weighs 159kgs now!!.. Also the Max torque figure for the Dominar250 was shown incorrectly in the video.. It is 23.5Nm@6500rpm..

Please please help , which one of these should be the most ideal as the first bike for me , I've got experience of only a scooter for 4 years and for my height reference , I can flat foot one foot on the R15V3 and can barely tip toe on it , from the video I really like the Duke. Fingers crossed

Simply go for it! Extremely well thought out machine. Only CONS I could find in my 1 year of ownership (since 30.06.2019) are: Need for a real windshield - I got an aftermarket one for ₹1500/- and got it fixed at service center. Need for a slightly longer & wider pillion seat (at least like the FZ25) Lack of some modern features - Most important one is 'Side Stand indicator/engine cutoff' More detailed instrument cluster - Current one is good (Gear Position Indicator!) but doesn't have Mileage Display (Average & Real time) etc like the RTR 200 etc MAY BE Bluetooth Connectivity for Navigation, Sync & more (again like the RTR 200)

i have been using FZ16 for 10 years and looking to upgrade to a 250cc. The FZ25 is not even in my list. I was thinking of going for the Gixxer 250 as its seems to have little big best of all. Slightly lightweight. Better power. Good amount of tech. And as the bike will mostly be used in city riding conditions, i think it should return better fuel average than rest baring FZ25.

I own Gixxer155 2016 model. Clocked 55K almost. Planning to switch to Gixxer 250cc in the coming times

Gixxer... I can say

Suzuki's are the best in handling department thanks to it's chasis and high cornering speed. The ktm is good but is very poor to handle and takes a while to adjust to it.

Gixxer SF 250 is a fantastic Bike

Suzuki 250 great bike. Velue for money.

long tour ke liye fz 25 sahi rahegi kya .. because light weight bhi hai ... Classic 350 pe tour kiye hai maine par bhari lagti hai mujhe bahut Daily use ke liye ... That's why dominar bhi nahi ... Only fz25 or gixer 250 ... And comfort bahut zaroori hai mere liye power nahi .. main shimla main rehta hun aur 60 kmph se tez zyada nahi chalata .... Also suggest hero xpulse Woh sasti bhi hai ????
