Great video dude! Your bike looks sick! I just recently switched from a Radiant Cycles Shorty GP exhaust to an M4 exhaust on my 2014 CB500F and I gotta say, it really gives the bike a much deeper sound! The Coffman exhaust is a very throaty exhaust and I love the way it sounds as well. You just earned another subscriber 👍😎

@@upnorth5465 I'm beginning to feel the same too .second day of riding today. I live in an apartment complex and felt like I already reached my limit with the baffle on. But even on the road , especially during traffic stops , I feel like I don't need anymore noise than this (I'm assuming removing baffle produces bigger sound )

@@zooomthesquirrel3707 I agree. I removed the baffle just to see how much difference there was and it was A LOT louder than with it in. At that point you might as well straight pipe it. The bike also felt like it definitely lost power down low as well with it out.

I think you’re doing a great job on your videos, I’m interested in purchasing one of these which is why I’m watching your videos. One thing that might get you more views is if you wouldn’t cuss so much, KZread has an algorithm that looks for cussing in videos so it’s a possibility you could get more views if you didn’t cuss so much, just a tip, but regardless enjoying the content and ride safe.

Supertrapp.. the thing sounds so sweet on the 600 hurricane when i had one back in the day.. have yet to hear one on a 500r.. but thats what im looking at in Feb. when i get my bike...

I also went with the Coffman. Great sound!!! Did you notice any power loss? I’ve been told it can hurt your mid range but I didn’t notice a difference

I haven’t noticed any power loss. But did not live a loss in my MPG. But that was expected.

Do you plan to get a bigger or more powerful bike in the future? I’ve never ridden a bike before and I know it would be smart of me to get a less powerful bike than say a cbr600rr so that I don’t hurt myself lmao. Would this be a good bike to start on for someone who has never ridden before? I also considered the 300r but I feel like the 500r would be a little more powerful and enjoyable to ride as a starter bike. Thanks!

I for sure plan on getting a bigger bike in the future. Been looking at potentially picking up an R6 or 600rr maybe next season, not sure yet. 1000% I recommend starting on the 500r! It’s pretty quick with a level power delivery. And it’s hard to do power wheelies (when trying). Couldn’t recommend the 500r enough!

Tommy. Just added the leo vince gp corsa exhaust mod to my cbr. Check my channel for a quick vid. She sounds so much better.

GET THAT ENGINE... "COMPUTER"... REMAPED FOR THAT EXHAUST BEFORE YOU RUIN THAT MOTOR!!!...the backfire is a tell tale sign of wrong back pressure because you changed the dynamics of the air flow. The factory exhaust is not just a mufler to keep the engine quiet. They are designed with chambers and many different components to ensure the engine runs at peek performance...when you change that precise dynamic...you risk major damage to countless internal parts. Its like putting new strings on a guitar..you have to tune it afterwards.
