There's no doubt that the components used in the bike are of good quality. However, investing 75K in a brand like Marlin and Poly, which I don't have much trust in, seems challenging. I'd rather opt for a lower variant of components from reputable brands like Giant and Trek instead.

there is no doubt giant and trek is a good brand but their entry level bikes are pathetic and not value for money. However brands can't make everyone happy, some people like showing brand stickers, others like their money invested in equal stuffs which will not need further upgrades and make the overall bike expensive

Prioritizing a bike with a sturdy frame and the right size takes precedence over one with top-of-the-line components. It's true that some individuals enjoy displaying brand stickers, while others repaint their bikes and apply custom stickers as a form of self-expression. However, this falls into a separate discussion. The main point remains that placing trust in a new brand always poses a challenge.

Similar questions I also have. But if i check the prices for Trek and Giant with similar components, then you spend roughly about over 1 lakh. Agreed with Firefox, wherein, what higher end bikes they have now days😢

From my opinion,my Bike 🫣 Merida Big 9 Limited is the best 1x11gear Bike in INDIA with thru axle frame, shimano M 5100 groupset, manitou markhor air fork, tekto/ shimano brake with Maxxis Ikon Tire..The Bike weight (Small, 13.45 with dropper).

But I think you are comparing a 1.08 Lakh bike with a 75K bike? I'm sure for 1 lakh Marlin in future would be able to provide 1X12 with Rockshox

Look out for the frame geometries bro... Iff you are more into trail rides then go for trek marlin 7 gen 3...else you can go with marlin

M900 has same frame and geometry of their Spear Series, good for XC races, and regular trail rides

Marlin Spear is XC oriented geometry, Polygon Xtrada is XC Trails, money wise Spear is better,

If you have the budget go for 11 as the components are higher, else go with Spear 10 and later you can upgrade to Air Forks, or bigger gears
