does your pattern use the right body size, or a size that has added allowances? and, does it need to be added when cutting the fabric for excess seams again on the armpits and shoulders?

Each seam is 0.8 mm, front panel have 2 seams, side panel have 2 seams and back panels have 2 seams , total 6 seams , so total 4.8 cm , measuring from front shoulder to back shoulder, you need to exclude 4.8 cm seam allowance.

@silviochan89 somewhere between 3:00 and 3:12 there is part not explained about the front neck hole, the N point is curved down to meet the lapel but is this just done by eye or does the lapel style line get extended into the pattern? Fantastic video otherwise!

This is an open front jacket , so front neck curve is not important, you are right, N point curve down to meet the lapel, ( for close front jacket , such is mandarin collar jacket , neck curve is important)
