No ability to have the inlet and outlet (clean and dirty water) hooked up to plumbing. 👎🏻

I don't think samsung had a robot vacuum before, but this looks much better , they are getting better each year. The steam mop looks great..20 years down the line, I see robots doing all the dirty work , which is good !

I LOVE this part of the timeline we are in.

Knowing Samsung, being in he robot vacuum community and owning a Samsung robot vacuum(s) for a very long time now, I bet that Samsung will drop support in 3 years. They done this in the past.

You need Wi-Fi connected to it and Samsung account? So the complete map of your apartment will be uploaded somewhere where it can absolutely be sold to third party. Like... What are you doing? And why aren't those letters bigger so we can actually see what you're doing. Find a way to do it locally and to store the map of the apartment on the device. It's not that hard

And just because other ones are doing bad things is not an excuse for another company to do their best to be as bad as they can. Death logic that if Google does bad things everybody should and we should be okay with it is an intelligent and detrimental.

Impressive robo vacuum

On one hand, I find the value proposition of any vacuum robot dubious if you have anything more than one floor to worry about, or even a dropoff bigger than an inch. On the other hand, sending your vacuum to go find the cat sounds hilarious

It's the modern marketing word, but visual recognition models are AI, here or on Mars. In fact, one of the kickoffs of the new era was the Alexnet AI for image recognition, in 2012, by one of the main creators of ChatGPT. The problem is also that people don't know what AI is and they like to criticize to feel intellectual. That's another timeless fashion.

@@cesar4729 that ai vision thing this jet powered vacuum has, Its probably something like lidar or a basic algorithm with a basic database to tell id there's an obstacle in front of it. knowing samsung, it probably can be disabled, but knowing samsung, it probably can't be disabled. I'll have to read some stuff to understand what exactly it is that they're claming it being ai (nowadays, a rain sensing, sensor, on a car could be called ai. since this term is being used so loosly, that it's sort of loosing its magic and meaning.)

Since the Eufy S1 Pro with it's constant mop washing, I just see all the other moppers as a damp cloth spreading dirt around so thin that it appears clean. The game has changed and the other robots need to catch up to the S1 Pro

Every dust robot of the last 3 years has promised to be able to detect small stuff like cables, but none have actually held their promise 100% of the time. It's usually 50-50 if the robot rips at a cable because it doesn't notice the cable. I'd love it if Samsung could manage to pull this off, but I'm sceptic.
