You are an admirable man, Francesco Protopapas. Your work is really good. I just wish you posted more videos. Generally, only few people like you are really generous enough to post about gem inclusions and treatments, which are the most difficult and more important part of gemstones analysis. Thank you for sharing that material with us.

ok I should have waited for your comment because I bought ACCU-SCOPE Excelis HD Lite Camera - 1080p - 5.0 Megapixels with the ACCU-SCOPE 3075-GS Zoom Stereo Gemological Microscope Series. but I dont need to use slr camera...it has the excelis camera and I hook it up to the laptop. lets see if mine is as good as yours!!! I love how clear your photos are.

Hello. Could you please put comments what needs to be checked? What exactly indicates, that gem was treated with berrilium diffusion?

Hi, We sent the stone for an analysis with LIBS because we have seen some inclusion typical of beryllium treated sapphires like strange circolar clouds, recrystallizations, and other typical inclusions of extreme heat thermal treatment. Obviously in the stone quite all the inclusions are the same of only the heat treated sapphires ones, but after the exam, I had the pleasure to record this video.

Ok. Thank you for your answer ;) was hoping, that there are specific/ unique signs, which can indicate, that stone might be treated with Be. I know, that very few labs can be proud to have LIBS so therefore it's hard to know whether it was only heated to enhance color or Be done, exception can be Songea sapphires, which are mostly treated with Be and it's widely known Wish you very nice New Year full of beautiful moments, finding amazing specimens and people you can always count on

That is not beryllium treated gem. I think you are talking about heat treated gem.

What am I looking at here?? I'm sorry but without any commentary & explanation to go along with imagery this is utterly meaningless for me! And I'm not even a Novice, either... :(
