At the apex of this piece, this arrangement, the penultimate note comes sweet and soft. In fact a tender complaint. Even the slight buzzes along the way seem to coalesce. Truly brilliant. Can’t be taught.

Sandy Grungerson or maybe he is just more musically insightful than other guitarists twice his age. There is nothing revolutionary or new in his techniques that was not available to guitarists 20 years ago. Just a lovely piece of music and fine playing.

Das ist unglaublich, unfassbar, wundervoll, mir fehlen die Worte. Eine ohnehin wundervolle, höchst emotionale Nummer, höchst melancholisch, aber eben für Cembalo oder Spinett komponiert und arrangiert, und vom Satz her extrem herausfordernd auf der Gitarre, und dennoch hier so souverän und immer noch sensibel und empathisch interpretiert....Chapeau! Respekt, größten Respekt vor dieser Leistung!!!!

Il y a tant interprétations de cette si jolie pièce de Rameau au clavecin bien sûr, au piano mais je lui préfère celle-ci car la guitare est l'instrument de l'amour et puis on doit la tenir tout contre le cœur ...

Wonderful playing. Is it just me or is the player's right hand thumb position somewhat unusual? I mention this only because I am struggling to find the best right hand thumb position for myself.

great skill and great piece ! maybe you should consider him wearing some other kind of shirt ? you can hear it so loudly, as well as his breathing .. maybe try some other mic positions ?
