I met a girl and fell in love once a long time ago. Maybe she loved me more. But life had other plans for us and I left for the military. She went back home. My father did the exact same thing, he is still alive but we haven't been in contact for a while. He was an alcoholic parent. I had a dream last night that I called him and he couldn't remember who I was anymore, and my sister said in that dream that his diabetes is at a deadly level (he has diabetes truly). Balled my eyes out. But I remembered that alzheimer or demented people still remember songs (he is not actually demented or have alzheimer's), so in my dream I thought I could sing this and he would remember and I could have my last contact with my father.

2/26/22 I was in the midst of writing a novel, and I need to search for a perfect song to fits in my novel's scenario. So I was browsing through some good 80's or 90's love songs. Something's good ... Then I stumbled to this tune - Casablanca ... I can't help but played it on and listened it ... It's not mend for my novel but ... My tearrs just roles down from the corner of my eyes ... Coz I remembered my own "Casablanca" story decades ago before I was married. No doubt, the sore memories all just flashes by when I listens to this tune and closed my eyes. Somewhat similar like the movie Casablanca. But it's was my own version. Instead like the movie she went away from him, mine was he went away from me ...

There is a cover of this song in our language.The cover song is so good and the lyrics are so amazing.The cover song is about two people who are in love in the university but they broke up when they graduated.But they still both love each other and are missing each other.The cover songs also contains how beautiful and peaceful their university is and about the places they had been together when they are still university students.That song is so beautiful and such a masterpiece.The composer who is also the male singer of the cover song ( because the cover is a couple song ) is such a genius and he is one of the greatest composers and singers of his times. Now he has passed away.I never thought that song is a cover.The original version is such a masterpiece too.There is a time in our country that the composers and the bands made cover versions of the famous songs in U.S. and U.K..But the cover version are so great and although the lyrics are different ( some may be the same ) , they do not ruin the original taste of the version.I think the famous singers in U.S. do the same things too.They also made cover of the original song.

My english is not really good so I just wanna write that I'm Indonesian I am Number 4 have 3 siblings. I was raised by single parents which is My mother. So, my mother worked as a english techer for middle school. She used to play the oldisk songs (CD ERA) when I was Kid like first elementary school.
