Not a single animation studio has the guts (pun intended) to touch this awesome series, but with voice acting and narration, you all did so well on this! You all should feel very proud of what you've created, it really is amazing

British Guts is unexpected but very welcome. The guy did an amazing job. He gave a new light to his personality. The overall sound design and voice acting is god tier.

Funny that this is the only adaptation of lost children were gonna get. This is a pretty good one to be fair.

GUTS' VA did an amazing job kudos to him , i much prefer the characters from the Berserk world having accents than just having generic american accents like most english anime dubs. Makes it feel more authentic to the world they are in

Guts is the only person from Liverpool who always walks alone

Guts sounds perfect, also huge props for managing to make Puck cute instead of annoying, haha.

The fact that the "adult attack" sounded so innocent is actually chilling

This is amazing. Lost childrens arc is one of the best on the whole series and one that is not adapted into animation. This is awesome .

This arc was brutal, as,expected, but also tragic and deeply sad. And Gut using that child for attracting the bugs was one of his lowest but funny moments😅😅 You ppl did a great job.

Goddamn this really puts into perspective, how big berserk is. Like seven hundred pages in one sitting but when in movie form the scale is huge! Thanks for all the work you put into this.

Dude this Guts voice is such a different direction, I really like it.

This guts voice fits surprisingly well, I love it.

British Guts gave me whiplash but it grew on me. 😂😂 All of you did such an amazing job adapting this arc, especially when it came to the sounds.

The adaptation we deserve. Very well done on the entire production. Music, voice, sfx are all great.

You are one of a verrrrrrry select few of creators who do this well, and you absolutely kill it. I can’t tell you how many other channels are run by people who should absolutely not be voice acting, much less trying to read on tape. I have spent a long time on KZread looking for a channel that does what you do, but I’ve never found one that I find tolerable until you. Bless you sir, never stop!

@@BASAAC no it doesn't. Places like Midland and Tudor were not kingdoms and empires in actual Europe. Tudor was the name of a royal house, but it wasn't its own empire. Midland is very loosely based on Mercia, maybe, but there was never a place called the Kingdom of Midland. There was a real place called the Kushan Empire but that's it. Berserk is a medieval fantasy setting, it doesn't have historically accurate locations. No one actually mentions Europe as a place, or England, or Wales etc.

@@BASAAC sure but that doesn't mean it's somehow inaccurate for people to not have English, Welsh, Scottish etc accents. That's what I'm saying. I mean I don't think people should sound like they're from Brooklyn and Alabama either, but there's nothing wrong with how characters sound in the English dub. They also definitely don't use modern English terms like the OP is claiming. You don't hear anyone saying "bro" and "slick as fuck" or "cool shoes, man".

Berserk fits so well. Great job, fantastic! I want more! And Scottish Guts is Chef’kiss-primo-well done!! This is *BETTER* than the movies, I will fight anyone about that.

Every Berserk fan knows the feeling when he finds an amazing adaptation of the manga, be it anime, motion comic or whatever. And this adaptation in particular is damn near perfection! The voice acting was godly. I am so accustomed to 97 guts voice that I couldn't really appreciate a British guts, not that he wasn't good. The pacing was damn good. Loved your work mate. Anything you put out related to berserk will highly be appreciated brother. Much respect to you.

I actually like the voice for guts here, it makes sense in the setting and fits.

Idk how i got here but damn, the sound is simply top notch and the acting just perfect, you sir have truly brought Berserk's world to life. Hats off to you. Love the way how this arc is basically another restart for the story since it starts with the same phrase about the sword being an iron slab, word for word.

Holy fuck, YES! This was incredible. The voice work, the sound effects, and the music were great.

Rosine's voice is the only one that doesn't fit. It's way too deep and refined for a 14-year old.

Outstanding job my friend, thankyou for this, every Berserk fan should watch it! The sound effects and dub is top notch and Guts sounds kinda like Trevor Belmont from Cstlevania, really a good choice, please keep doing this

Spectacular work!! My gosh, you and your associates create some of the best work here on KZread, you bring stories to life, and give them the ambience they need!! I was crying for poor Rosine, that girl deserved a better life.

Miura made a whole chapter to explain why gut´s beast woke up and fans say it adds nothing to the plot, Guts was able to abandon his humanity more than Rosine, thats the reason the whole battle develops around Jill

I found this at 1130 at on a day that I had work the next morning. And had to finish it . Look at the clock to see how late I stayed up, and it was well worth it. I don’t know how much was spent to make this but man I would watch this adaptation if you did the whole berserk series . so good

I loved this from start to finish . This sort of voice for guts, this gritty accent and constant heavy breath/tone on his persona, the quality of the voices around him, contributed into making the real dark fantasy world that is berserk. Egoistocally, i wish you guys all the recognition you deserve and for this voices to make it into whatever form of art that gives this manga the recognition it deserves in this uglu ugly world, were art needs to be filtered trough a false sense of offense, where if something is disrespectful to some or harsh to see, than it has to be deleted I only hope that when me and my friends finally have the "guts" to show our DnD games on KZread than it will be treated like the amazing work you voice actors and team behind this video very well deserved It's ment to be provocative , it's ment to be "berserk "

Wow, this is beyond what I expected. Voice acting is fantastic, overall sound. So nice as a change from just reading it. Guts’ voice takes some time to get used to but everyone else’s voiced, despite accents I’d never used when reading it myself work so well. Obviously nothing is like the voices you create during your own reading experience. So glad you and others put the effort into this. Enjoyed it very much

If you loved this iteration of Guts, the voice actor Graham Rowat is a staple in the horror story podcast No Sleep Podcast. It was wild hearing him take on one of my favorite fictional characters!

Don’t they know that we would be more than happy with a motion comic instead of the garbage they keep feeding us. The manga is perfect, we just want good acting with it!

I first read this arc after my own Berserk hiatus. In a time were there was no new chapter for quite some time. This arc completely floored me. It is very dark. Far darker than many other arcs in Berserk... but its also beautiful in a very haunting way. I grew up as a lost child of sort and battled many personal demons along the way. Maybe its one of the reason I like this story so much. It also shows that even at his lowest Guts is not as heartless or cruel as he probably would like during his crusade against the apostles and the God Hand. Rosine is by far the most tragic apostle. Unlike others, most of them depraved and evil for the sake of evil, she was just a lost child pushed to the brink. I rarely comment on youtube but this video earned honest comment from a guy who grew up with Berserk. Thank you.

Everything that went into this sounds amazing! The instrumental "Mad World" made it sound like a folk song and was very fitting. Even putting in "Gut's Theme" with your own little spin was nice to hear. I particularly loved the pacing with transitions from scene to scene.

The voices are amazing.

I'm so glad this series has fans like you guys who can bring the manga to life like this thank you for the entertainment

Spoilers I always forget that Rosine basically breaks the sound barrier, which to someone in a medieval setting would be pretty confusing 😅 Also Guts is basically blocking a fighter jet slamming into him with a spear, that's wild The ending with Jill is probably my favorite ending to a story... Ever. It hits like train, and its something that comes back to me when times get tough.
