Amid so much Nature,the Railway track and the infrastructure looses its man made identity and it seems natural.

A very pleasant ride from my armchair lovely scenery your railway must be very trusting of people to have no fences in places our lines are bounded by cyclone fences and razor wire to keep people off the lines I thought there was a miniature railway over left 3:53 but think it is probably a *cog railway?*

+abl78 Extra traktion on tracks that are steeper inclines both up and down. Cogs are fitted under the engines and connect automatically. That is why they slow down before interaction.

Centre rail is a rack on to which a gear on the loco engages to drive at large percentage inclines. It also acts as a braking element down hill.

@@qpr543 One reason Is the speed of the train I limited to about 20 kph while 'on the rack', also there can be considerable mechanical wear and tear of the rack and the pinions. Railway are built for the least expensive solution, for the problem experienced for the route required, to provide a service in the restriction of the landscape.

We end up in Lauterbrunnen , and there were indicator signs at that station for Interlaken and Jungfrau.

Arvind Vader I add also a dislike because I do not want to see any closeups of the face and hand of the driver in these kind of videos. Also because no station names are given.

@@l.h.1760 Ja, da habe ich schon öfter drüber nachgedacht. Eine Lokführerin hat mir im messenger mal geschrieben dass es eigentlich nicht erlaubt wäre 🤔 keine Ahnung ob es nur an ihrem Chef liegt oder so 🤔🤔🤔

Und Wann kann man zum Eiger- Gletscher mitfahren!?
