Maybe even Trapp before Leno but Lehmann can be lucky that Klinsmann chose Lehmann over Kahn cause noone else would have done that.

Leno is underrated and underappreciated by Arsenal fans. He was a big part of the reason that Arsenal went on that 22 game unbeaten run.

@@oliverlee9684 No, Leno played in 14 games of that run. So over half. Cech played for 8 of those fixtures. And most of Cech's games were against pub clubs such as Qarabag, Sporting CP, Vorksla, and Blackpool. In the PL, Cech was keeper for West Ham (when they were going through a losing period), Cardiff, Newcastle and Everton. Leno's games: Watford, Fulham, Leicester, Palace, Liverpool, Wolves, Bournemouth, Spurs, Man Utd, Huddersfield. Brentford, Sporting CP, Qarabag, Vorksla.

Completely solid GK, sometimes doesn't set the world alight but he makes every save you want him to make and is good on 1 on 1s unlike Cech who is prone to more errors

I'm not a big fan of keepers punching the ball, especially in the EPL. I think he has top notch reflexes and his distribution is good though, I rate him and I'm sure he'll kick on next year. #COYG

In wet and windy conditions with modern balls punching balls is much safer especially when theres a lot of traffic in front of you and the slightest mistake in handling from a cross which is made extremely harder from wheather and dip of ball could lead to a costly goal. But i agree with your other points

Prefer keepers catching if they can...but his punches are so strong that it is effectively a clearance away from the danger zone

One has to look hard at him to differentiate him from Ter Stegen.

His weakness at the moment is handling of crosses and aerial balls..but he is improving. His main strength are his reflexes and shot stopping and he has always been excellent in one on one situations.

Very good, but one of my critiques with him is he tends to punch the ball back into dangerous areas and doesn't command his area enough. He should work on his catching as well

@Ewan Gage Yeah, but it's not his first season managing a club. To neglect the defending is his trait as a manager. Hence, the reversal by Barcelona when PSG was 4-0 ahead. Has not protected the back for the 15 years or so he has been a manager. The midfield defending has improved but the same weak defending at the back persists.

@Ewan Gage Emery is suited for Arsenal. He's a good attacking coach and puts on entertaining games for the fans. Yeah, it would be too early to say Emery Out. Players and fans like him. He brings a good atmosphere to the club. A bit like Wenger in lots of ways but he's more up to date with the latest tactics and coaching techniques. I think he's fine for the time being while the club isn't ready to invest more in transfers and compete with City and Liverpool.

My player of the season the only thing he lacks is the number 1 on the back of his jersey i love this player he is the new De Gea watch out next season COYG

7-1 agaisnt barcelona, 6-2 against bayern - but solid, lol. So why only a dead club like arsenal wantedd him ?

I think if he starts claiming some of those balls that are swung in(as opposed to punching), he's the complete keeper; cause he already appears to be the type of "sweeper keeper" that Neuer WAS...no disrespect...
