In this video he competes in IBJJF Worlds (Mundials) competitions and other competitions in the gi and nogi. He has competed against many competitors like Tim Spriggs, AJ Argazam, Leandro Lo, Erberth Santos, Luis Panza, and even Roberto Cyborg Abreu . He competes under team Alliance and trains at the Marcelo Garcia academy in New York. He is also famous for his involvment in BJJ Fanatics.

It's crazy how often he can compete against other black belts and his guard passing pressure is so good that they give up their back.... over and over.... very impressive
Tenho que admitir o Jiu-jitsu do Bernardo Faria não é o mais bonito. Mais é impressionante o quanto é simples e ao mesmo tempo eficiente. Observo muito o jogo dele e tento copiar várias coisas. Para caras mais pesados, fortes e sem muita flexibilidade nas guardas é muito indicado. Monstro do Jiu-jitsu.
