a great band playing a great version of the legend elmore james! our good friend bernard on the slide guitar surrounded by proper jewish bluesmen who know how to support the leader.
In the 1800s, the expression “get up and dust” meant to leave in a hurry. In the Depression-era South, where the song likely originated, “dust my broom” meant to get out of town in a hurry. lead pkayer on Les Paul has listened to Henry Vestine more than once. this is a great band. reminds me of canned heat. I saw the "heat" @ the goat's head in Raleigh,NC in june '74. Henry "buzzed" a while courtesy of an old gold top Les Paul & a big stack of SUNN amps. again, this band kicks major ass 🎸🎸🎸🎸
