Actually Germany is different from any other European country, because its capital is not one of the most beautiful cities in it. If you want to see the beauty of German cities, visit cities such as Heidelberg, Dresden, Potsdam, Bonn, Köln, all of them are prettier than Berlin

After the destroying of Berlin, big concerns like Siemens moved to Bavaria and Baden Würtemberg that's the reason why the south of Germany is so strong and Berlin is very poor actually. Also the population of Berlin is much smaller than the Population of Berlin in the late 1930s. From (4.4 Mio) to today (3.7). Mio

As a German it makes me sad that Berlin has completely lost its charm after WW2. Sometimes I wonder how the city would look like without the destruction.

We are happy what we have, but that doesn't mean we can't criticise our nation. The Netherlands is a country what is easy to get around, but I also think it's a country with ugly landscapes.

I‘m german... and I would say you shouldn’t visit Berlin, because it might damage your „good view“ on Germany. Wether visit Dresden, Munich or Frankfurt.
