The Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol is a tactical/ Competition 12 Gauge Shotgun that is light weight, yet soft shooting. It has a 7+1 capacity and a lot of enlarged controls to make it a great option for Law Enforcement or Home Defense. Thanks to Beretta USA for their help! #BerettaA300Ultima #Patrol #Shotgun

and just like that I find myself needing a Beretta A300..
It will never cease to amaze me that Beretta is almost 500 years old and still shucking! They have designed some of the coolest and innovative firearms ever! Where would the gun world be without them? I dont dare know. Wonderful video, and thanks for sharing!
Handled one at my local gun store. 900 bucks I'm in love. Hopefully next month.

I have the 1301 tactical and it's a beast. The a300 definitely looks like a winner for somebody that doesn't want to spend the money on a 1301

Shotguns are hands down awesome. They are so versatile and are very good at instilling confidence that they will get the job done. They are also extremely demoralizing if you are on the receiving end. You hear a thunderous boom as a fist-sized hole manifests itself in your buddies torso or worst case your own torso. Some people say that shotguns are not good weapons in the modern day, I say those people are idiots.

Agreed. Especially in a home defense scenario, at 7-15m (where nearly all encounters happen,) the size of the damage is so much more effective and forgiving with a shotgun than a typical home defense weapon (say, 9mm handgun/carbine or a .300BLK AR.) I'd much rather fire one powerful shot that'll likely get the job done than try to keep 5-8 rounds center mass rapidly in a high-stress situation. If you're running a pump, the sound of the rack alone will probably make someone turn and run. If you have a semi, well...good luck to the intruder with those 56-ish pellets rapidly heading their way.

Shotguns are awesome in their role but I will take an AR if I can only have one choice.because of increased range of lethality a shotgun is good for 100yds realistically anything over that it’s pretty useless also capacity is a huge down side as well as ease of reloading.

My buddy just picked one of these up to break it in He came out to my range. This is a very impressive shotgun. A real pleasure to shoot.
As a proud 1301 LTT owner, I probably would have waited for this and saved myself $500 if I had known this was coming two years later.

Remember the LTT is a custom gun! It is not mass-produced. Better fit and finish. Trigger work has been done. Arguably a better system? You have a specialty gun that few others have...

Its really like a a390 compared to an a400. Both capable of doing the job but the a400 just has newer tech and slight barrel "upgrades".
Always enjoy your enthusiasm in your reviews and best of all, showing the disassembly.

First the 1301 now this…great overview Dan. Thanks man. 🇺🇸
Saw some other open box and testing on this bad boy, but this host sir explained the gun much more in detail. Thanks for your work!
Soocth00 , another excellent presentation, as usual. Your style of staging is matchless. Good work should be praised.👌👌👌👌👌
I just bought the Patrol last week and sighted in the ghost sights out to 50yds on slugs and 15 on buckshot, they were dead on out of the box. I ordered the HOLOSUN 507C and sighted in the same way, dead center at 25 yds and 1 inch low at 50 yards out of the box no adj., this Patrol is excellent for HD and SHTF its lightweight, recoil is great compared to my 870/500 pumps and my remington 11 riot and with xtra velcro cards it is a serious weapon for any problem.

i've had a 1301 tactical and now have a 1301 comp. I LOVE beretta shotguns.
I may be late to the game, but this was without a doubt the best review of anything I’ve ever seen, picking up my new a300 next week! Thank you sir!
Excellent work in cuing the Dummy to fall on the 8th round. Thanks, Don. This looks like a superb option for the bedside.
I have a Benelli M4 that has some upgrades and was looking at getting the 1301 to see the difference. However, after watching this review I think I'm just gonna go with this shot gun. The biggest selling point for me is all the added features it comes equipped with right out the box!

I picked up one a few weeks ago, and it is awesome.
Good vid. Interesting points. I have the 1301 and it will take about 500 more dollars to change stock and forearm, scope/light mount. The A300 reminds me of my Benelli M3. A very handy piece with lots of capability. Great shooters. Made in USA says a lot.
For months I was set on a Mossberg 590A1 as my first shotgun and kind of ruled out semi-autos because of the higher cost but that was before I found the A300 Ultima Patrol, the 590A1s I was looking at and were available were already pushing $800 from where I'd be getting it from and sure it's still another $200 but I think it'll be worth it so I ordered one this morning.
Great review Sootch!!!! It was great meeting you at the NRA Convention in Indianapolis yesterday!!! You were very down to earth and friendly!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Agreed, but first they have to actually become available in the mainstream lol. I hear tell of quite a few people having issues with them, so it almost seems like Mossberg's trying to keep them under wraps for a while.
Great video. Picking up one of these tomorrow. Thanks for sharing this review.
I was just looking at this gun. It’s like $1k. 7+1 (2-3/4”) semi auto, and it’s a Beretta! A light and a sling - good to go. I like this stock more than the pistol grip tactical options on other rigs. Was looking at the FN but A300 has more capacity and it’s a lots less. I gotta get this shotgun. 👍
Thank you for an excellent review!

Great shotgun, very nice reviews.
As a female I was concerned with recoil and having had 2 shoulder surgeries a while back. I was sold on the Binelli M4 tactical but didn’t want to spend what they were asking. Someone suggested the Beretta A300 patrol tactical and after watching your video I was sold! Went and purchased one. The price is good, it fits like a glove for me and I am really excited to try it out at the range. I also like how you provide how to break it down and clean. Thanks for your expertise.
Great video! I just ordered mine.
Thanks Sootch. Berettas got a winner
thanks for a great review
Great gun. Well done. Thanks
Really nice weapon would love to have one. Most reviews call this a budget shotgun. Perhaps times have changed but this is far from a budget gun at 1000 bucks. Not sure about anyone else but a grand is a great deal of money to me. It seems all the manufacturers have jacked prices through the roof as these became more popular. If this gjn was in thd 700 range i would be all over it. But im guessing it not to be. This is getting to be a rich mans game now.

Appreciate your review. Thanks.
I must say the way you present this shotgun and as far as video wise, I must say you are doing a hell of a job very presentable and understandable day. No question to ask just buy it.💪💪💪💪💪👍👍
Hell yes!!! I hope the new LTT 1301's will get an open loading gate like that. I am going to try to get my Agency on board for adoption of the A300.
Im with you on the sights. I bought a 507 Comp red dot to put on it and felt foolish. Being that I was trained on pump action Moss and Rem in the military, it almost makes no sense. "Its a shotgun, just point and shoot " was the saying. I guess it adds a little coolness to the shotgun, but not $400 cool. Thank you for this indepth review.
Sold. Was gonna get the 1301 but saw this at Shot Show. Done deal

I liked how the target dummy would curl forward gradually with each shot. Very nice Boom Stick.
