I got a 6.5 Cr all black. I had my gunsmith mount a scope on it and then brought it home. The Bolt was not on the rifle. And the safety switch was on Red. I didn't know how to get the switch down to the locked position (white). I kept pressing on top and nothing was happening. Till I started watching your review and at 6:45 you pressed "forward" on the switch to get it to move. I put the video on pause, grabbed the rifle that is been sitting behind me in a case and pressed as hard as I could and what do you know, it worked. So, thank you for that. Your video review paid off. I had problem getting the bolt mounted since I brought it home from my gunsmith. First, there was a part of trigger that was in the vertical position blocking the bolt to be mounted. I was pushing it down with my finger to lock down but it wasn't. I emailed my gunsmith photos and he called me and said to use a screwdriver to push it further down to lock it in and it worked. Then I tried to mount it again, but it wasn't going in. I looked at it in detail and apparently there is a tiny, tiny button on the left hand side that you are supposed to press and hold and then press the bolt forward to fall in place and it did. But, it took like three days of research to solve three issues with the bolt. But, I tell you after mounting the bolt I tried it and it is totally awesome and as smooth as can be. I kept playing with it forward and backward and just brought smile to my face after getting it to work. I am planning to add two other calibers as soon as they become available. I bought mine from the folks at Gunzonedeals dot com. If you want the lowest price anywhere on a firearm, they are it. BTW, love your reviews, you get into the nitty gritty details that might be missed. Keep up the good work and thanks for solving my last problem :)

The scope goes with the barrel. You need to have multiple scopes for multiple barrels to maintain zero. Otherwise if you try to keep one scope for multiple barrels, you will need to rezero since the scope gets unmounted . What's a second barrel cost? Who provides them?

@@mauricen9926 I own the Strasser RS 700 in 8.6 BLK and can personally attest to it adequacy
These came out 3 or 4 years ago here but didn't sell too well. Interesting concept but kind of the answer to the question no one asked.
it will be next 92FS in hunting/tactical rifles
Great video! Question, can this rifle be cycled upside down ? Usually only controlled round feed rifles can pass that test but im curious whether this action will do it ?
Hunting videos would be awesome.
I guess watching in Canada means KZread blocks the view of your thunder can ;-)
Looks like your 80lb hand torque made it shoot tighter !
More hunting content please sir
I felt a little ill when you dropped the rifle in that mud puddle, but good review.
Why did you block off the end of the barrel when you removed the suppressor?
Im not a fan of the scope mount set up, and wondering how robust the action is compared to a regular bolt gun.

It’s works fine, I have one also in 300win, should have around 680-690 shots down the barrel after this weekend. Never had any issues
The scope goes with the barrel. You need to have multiple scopes for multiple barrels to maintain zero. Otherwise if you try to keep one scope for multiple barrels, you will need to rezero since the scope gets unmounted . What's a second barrel cost? Who provides them?

These rifles are specifically designed with the European regulations in mind. I don't see any point in buying this to change calibres unless some ridiculous laws force you to.
That scope rail looks extremely fragile to me. One drop from carrying height looks like it could bend that thing. Does the bolt secure it or support it at all when it’s closed?
More hunting videos!
Why the blur while taking off the cap?
Thanks for the review! This cannot come at a more perfect time for me since I'm torn between a Tikka T3X Super Varmint and the BRX1 in 6.5CM. Which one do you like more?
It needs side swivels for rifle sling
Why would he “blur” the adding and removing if the suppressor? I am just a bit confused 🤣 But great video otherwise! Thanks for the video
Nice review. The hanging pic rail bothers me.

It's a great rifle but I'm bias as I have the .308 version
ziess doesn't make the lightest scopes. That scope probably comes in at 36 oz. That new vortex viper FFP 5-25 comes in 25 oz which is extremely impressive. Probably beats the vortex razor LHT 3-15 at 19.1 oz
What scope is is on this rifle 😮

typical european over-engineering amazing, complicated, a lot can go wrong needs really consistent maintenance to prevent damage on the fine mechanisms not really everyone's style, I'll gladly take a bolt action with simple maintenance and heavy action

Had my BRX1 Australian version 30-06 for past two years, already put almost 2,000 rounds through it mostly on wild pig control, but also took it to Alaska and New Zealand hunting in tough conditions. Has performed flawlessly and I am not great at caring for my rifles.

@@tonysambar That's an amazing testimony, 2k rounds is no small number for a long action. I'd be scared though, it's a beautiful rifle but seems to have a complicated bolt mechanism; and although the barrel swapping sound amazing, it can't be good for the threads to take the rifle apart even twice a year Glad you have had no issues, the straight pull was always a dream of mine
Its more expensive i Europ, it like 2000$
Lots of recoil.
