I was blessed to live there from 1978-80, courtesy of the U.S. Army. We used to run over to Salzberg for pastry. I had sense, but not the $$ to stay there forever.

The most beautiful place I have ever been..this must be like Heaven is like! ✝️💕

Am 08.07.19 bin ich nach 20 Jahren auch endlich wieder da. Zum 15 ten mal mach ich dann Urlaub in Berchtesgaden. Wie ich mich freue. Zumal mein Opa letztes Jahr verstorben ist. Er war über 50 Jahre lang jedes Jahr da im Urlaub gewesen. Jenner, Grünstein, Kehlstein, Watzmann und noch viel mehr wir sehen uns in 9 Tagen.

iich habe jetzt richtig Heimweh bekommen. Vor über 50 Jahren war ich im Internat in Strub ü. Berchtesgaden, damals war ich 18 Jahre alt und habe diese wunderschöne Gegend nicht geschätzt. Wunderschönes Video, vielen Dank!

While holidaying in Salzburg back in 2015, I took the local bus down to spend a few days in Berchtesgaden. The whole area thrilled be to bits! Also, the trip to Konigssee. I will be planning my next holiday there.

Ich war 1 Woche in Berchtesgaden im Urlaub war sehr schön

Toller Appetitanreger für die Stadt am Fuße des Watzmanns. Video und Ort sind absolut sehenswert.

Auch dieses Video ist sehr, sehr schön. Originalton belassen, wo es passt. Super. Haus 4 Jahreszeiten war mal unser Quartier.

Beautiful place

This is just the town,it has dark history being one of the final places of Nazism in Germany until it was liberated by the 101st Airborne but the Eagles nest high in the mountains just outside of town is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, it is truly an amazing sight and anyone visiting Austria or Bavaria has to see the surrounding area from the restaurant at the top

Was there in 2016 ,been there a few times , such a beautiful place /clean/and no homeless problem like in the U.S. and no crime problem to speak of ,also zero graffiti which is a pleasure that this beautiful place stays that way !! I think the German police do a great job and the German people are just wonderful !I wish the united states was that way !
