People used to judge him for low energy and lack of involvement but that statement puts that to rest.

The problem in England is that players who don’t run around like headless chickens get called lazy. Berbatov didn’t need to run around because he was a quality player with a great footballing brain and the technical ability to match

This is the game where Sir Alex saw Phil Jones, even losing the game, he was still able to impress the boss. Manager saw some talent in him, and he played well under him.

I remember watching this match and celebrating every goal Berbatov scored with so much happiness. 😁

Pep is a great manager..but there's soo much lack of talent in the EPL.. technically gifted skillful and intelligent players nowadays.

What's with the edit? Why have you included the random bits of bad passing and him losing the ball? Also, they were all sitters except the last goal, you could argue he just got lucky. Definitely not a MASTERPIECE.
