Nearly 3 months after crossing from Xanax over to low dose Valium, these symptoms are currently the worst things for me.

The last 3 months on my own without any help I have tapered off my Xanax. I’ve been prescribed to it for over 10 years. The first 5 weeks was extremely hard because I dropped from 2mg(2 tablets a day) to 0mg. I went from 2mg to 1mg, stayed at that for 2 weeks, then 1mg to .25mg for about 3 weeks until I was able to manage 0mg. I had very intense sweating, ear pressure like you mentioned, confusion, brain fog, dizziness, muscle aches, twitches, insomnia, intrusive thoughts, nausea, “Benzo belly”, and much more. I went a total of 17 days without taking any Xanax, then had to take a small piece of one. A few days of taking .25 mg, then back to no xanax for another 14 days or so. It’s been a cycle of taking a small piece after several days of being off of it. I can’t believe I’ve gotten this far, but I have a long way to go. You aren’t alone in your battle. Thank you for making these videos and documenting what you are feeling. It will get better, God bless.

Keep up the good fight young man, think of how great you will feel once you are off of that crap. I am tapering off of Valium and Suboxone. It sucks but i feel a little better every day. Life is good and you are young and handsome, you should be out having fun with your friends and enjoying the spring sunshine. Hang in there ❤

It's good to see you, Patrick. You look & sound better, but I know sometimes we can feel much worse than we appear. I'm still remembering you in my prayers. A lot of people care about you & are sending you positivity. Stay strong. 🙏🏽 I'm still tapering, dry cuts, and have that tinnitus & POTS symptoms. HELLISH nightmares when I can sleep. Also awakening in a State of primal terror sometimes. Stress other people's drama in my life is making that much worse. I'm afraid I'll never get off this stuff... tired of feeling like a slave to orange bottles.

Thank you so much for this!! We are all in it together. Prayers for you as well, that it will soon turn around for you! We just have to know how many have healed from it. We have to know that even though it’s horrific people DO heal. It just takes forever 😩. I can SO related when you say feeling like a slave to an orange bottle. My gosh. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt like that. Even before I was withdrawing and nearly bedridden like now. I couldn’t leave the house or take a trip or anything without having my meds with me. It truly does alter our entire lives even before withdrawal. I can’t wait for the day to finally be free of them!

I’ve been struggling also This last week have been horrible crushing fatigue, heart skips PVCs no energy whatsoever no appetite plus it makes my stomach hurt. So that doesn’t help with the energy levels. I’m feeling it too pretty much just been laying around lately but praying for you to get stronger and myself to. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻lol . Pray for better days.

Oh I can so relate. The palpitations and PVCs are awful! People who haven’t had them just can’t understand. The way they come on even when changing position or doing simple things like trying to go to bathroom. It’s just horrible and terrifying! I’ll be praying it starts to improve for you soon!! We aren’t alone in this. As bad as it is we’re all in it together. We will get through this!!🙏🏻🙏🏻

Exactly the same. One question. Do you have weakness and shaking? This is a big one for me and prevents me from getting ny own meals, cleaning the house, etc. Thank you again for sharing. You will get there soon.

Do you have head pressure? Or other head symptoms? Fear and anxiety? For me, now at 6 months free of xanax, irrational, unwanted thoughts disturb me the most , I know that they are senseless, but these negative thoughts are so weird, that I feel like almost out of my mind. Heavy head, confusion is also bad. I am just passing the time in a hope to get better one day. Wish you all the healing and love.🙏

I’m 1mg x still over twenty years intolerance been sick forever I’m tapering soon .As my tolerance is making me more sick .I have tons of symptoms never what is what anymore. At times I feel ok besides the screaming pulsating tinnitus but that’s been years .I totally get the burning skin rashes etc muscles spasms foot spasms my nose runs a lot I have histamine issues and now am getting episodes of internal tremors and I get the worst hot flashes .I have sound intolerance light intolerance mouth issues dizzy feel off balance I’ve had this crap so long so I’m not sure what a taper will feel like . I did a huge cut 13 years ago but didn’t know I was intolerance I blamed my mothers death and going into menopause as why but I think my cutting from 3 mg to 1mg put me in early menopause at the age 42.im 54 now and I’m tired of being tortured daily.Im still functioning by managing my symptoms but it’s hard. I find reading my Bible really grounds me and takes my fear away . I just want to feel better. Praying for you for healing.

The Gospel of your Salvation Christ died for ALL of your sins, past, present, and future. He was buried. On the third day, he arose from the dead, for your justificatiin, before God our Father. Believe and be saved. Its all by faith, not what you do(works) but by faith alone, in what Jesus did for you.

Chill pills for anxiety are what get people into this agony to start with. That’s the last thing you want to do. Because it gets to a point where they don’t seem to work as well so you want off of them and then you have to face all of these terrible symptoms.

I get the muscle spasms in the bottom of my feet and parts of my face, my eye sight shakes back and forth and when I wake up my heart is out of control I'm also very skinny now. Not fun. Wish you well man. I'm curios what dose of what your on. I don't have a prescription but have a little over 4 years worth of Xanax if I take 2mgs a day. 1 for me 1 for my girl. My receptors are gone though from years of abuse. Now I'm finally ready to get off it. I'm stuck at 1mg I'm gonna drop soon. Okay so your on Valium, what mg? What mg Xanax did you switch to Valium? I need pointers

I have a bit of a complicated dose history. Short version is as of a year ago I was at 2.5 mg Xanax plus 4mg Valium daily. As of 3 months ago I had gotten down to only 1mg Xanax daily. 3 months ago I crossed from Xanax to Valium to finish off my taper, but an equivalent dose to 1mg Xanax would’ve been 20mg Valium, I was crossed over at 8mg. Very very under dosed. I then tapered down to 6 mg Valium which is what I’m currently holding at while trying to stabilize. 6 mg Valium is equal to 0.3 mg Xanax as it’s 20x weaker. Kinda complicated I know. Sorry. But hope that helps!

I'm gonna try to wait till bed then take .5mg I think learning to not take it during the day will help me, I do have 360mgs of Valium saved along with a little over 4 years worth of 2mg xanax a day but like I said before I buy it online so it's a little different

I was also addicted to Benzos I went from Xanax to Valium like you did I was on 30mg of Valium I got all the way down to 10mg then doc switched me over to 50mg of Seroquel so I was able to get off the Benzos completely without having sleep disruption then I tapered off the Seroquel it took a long time but can be done good luck to you on your journey 🫡
