    Yes. Benzene rings only have van der waals forces holding them together. These forces are week and hence the reason why benzene evaporates readily.

    Each carbon atom in benzene has one of its outer electrons in a p orbital. Each p orbital overlaps with the neighbouring p orbital and forms a pi bond. This creates a region of space above and below the benzene ring in which the electrons can move within. This makes the electrons delocalised which in turn makes the molecule stable. Hope this helps!
