Benzema was already a megastar to me , I knew his play at the days of Lyon , long before Ronaldo came to Madrid. But I was wondering why Courtois didn't get it. Infact in my opinion they should think about the goalkeeping position. Except Lev Yashin no goalkeeper has ever won it..why? Goalkeepers also contribute equally as strikers in a team. Perhaps they should also try goalkeepers next year. They can find so much contenders.

Using that, then every lead assist player should be in the top 15 🙄Come on!. Ronaldo, yes, he scored a good amount of goals but where did his team ended? You mentioned Diaz... he had much more influence in the second half of the season for liverpool than Ronaldo for mu for the whole season.

@@regalk-hr7tf La FIFA ya no es el que entrega el balón de oro desde el 2017, el premio volvió a la revista France Football, y desde 2018 la FIFA entrega otro premio que es el FIFA The Best y lo entrega a inicios de el próximo año

Benzema was already a megastar to me , I knew his play at the days of Lyon , long before Ronaldo came to Madrid. But I was wondering why Courtois didn't get it. Infact in my opinion they should think about the goalkeeping position. Except Lev Yashin no goalkeeper has ever won it..why? Goalkeepers also contribute equally as strikers in a team. Perhaps they should also try goalkeepers next year. They can find so much contenders.

@@AshishCR7 the award is not based just on pure statistics. You say about Messi having the most assists, isn't supposed to be a lead assist on every single league? Using that, then every lead assist player should be in the top 15 🙄Come on!. Ronaldo, yes, he scored a good amount of goals but where did his team ended? You mentioned Diaz... he had much more influence in the second half of the season for liverpool than Ronaldo for mu for the whole season.
Absolute legends such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Ramos, Bale and even Messi (for Barça) have come and gone but Benzema remains. Hala Madrid, Hala Karim the Dream!
