Benz Timing Chain Tensioner Preload Procedure (C250, eng code 271)
The video was done on a C250 2012 model. Both cam hubs were replaced due to noise on cold start and P340 engine code. Technician missed time during procedure by a tooth on intake cam. Had to remove new tensioner this is the procedure for preloading time in chain tensioners if it has to be removed after installation.

That was the best demonstration I've ever seen
From the UK 🇬🇧 Thanks for your video, right in the middle of replacing the timing chain, that will save me an extended wait for a new tensioner for my C250 cheers 🍻 fella
I'll join the chorus of appreciation. Very clear, easy to follow video. Thanks!
3.5 hours invested to save a load of time for everone else. Thanks you guys.
Yo Taylor. Love the video. M217.940 c200 w203 is my car with common issue of timing. I’ll be starting the job soon and you have probably saved me a tonne of time in case I need to remove the tensioner after Install.
