@@yyumanager4709 yeah one of the worst pains and it took forever to heal. Ruined most of my season. Don't even chance it now and wear them every time. I hardly ever fall anymore but every once in a while catch an edge doing something stupid and the whip to the ground is killer. Some years back caught an edge with impact shorts and the bruise from my thigh to above my hip and took a long time to heal but can only imagine how much worse it could have been without the hip protector.

I wear impact shorts and if it’s proper cold, I’ll even toss on an impact shirt. I live in Jersey where the mountains are always just straight ice and I’m skinny af. Just sitting on the ice hurts let alone slamming on it.

Who else watches these videos in summer to get ready for ski season and remember the good all days

Heck yea buddy! I teach about 3/4 of my lessons with only our front foot strapped in. I love to focus on the twist of the board like that for the kids to learn how to link turns.

Lower spine compression , he’s young but bones and connection never forget ~ time will tell - 👎good he was wearing a helmet 👍

I had two compression fractures and a broken tailbone last year. It took like 30 minutes before I could breathe again. Glad it wasn't too bad for him

It just snowed 2ft in nj today ima go to the poconos sat for my first runs of the year. Ur so lucky my seasons only late December to ealry March while yours is October through june

When did you guys film this, I am going to Vail early January kinda bummed you said there wasn’t enough snow

I was at Wolf yesterday and it was such a great day. I did a pocket check getting off the Treasure heading to the Alberta and ate shit whip lash head impact fo sho.. Had to call it a day got at 1245

Nice footage! After ringing my tailbone hard last year, I am wearing some padded shorts this year. Would of made all the difference for him in that fall.

I used to wear impact gear back in my competition days but my riding has always been toned down since then falls have been a lot less painful in fact this is the first fall in the last 5 years where impact gear would have helped

Backflipping Benton when I saw fall, I knew it was serious. From shredding mode to bummed, it was a one in a million fall from way up as you kinda ollied into it. Last year, thinking I still ripped like I used to now, at 47, I caught a simple heel edge on icy transition to next lift and trip was ruined. I toughed through day but was sore for 2 months and every turn hurt. People don’t realize how hard you guys are ripping, especially considering icy hard pack. One edge gone wrong and bam, day is ruined.

"going to all open resorts in Wisconsin... oh except Troll" literally the only Wisconsin I go to because I live in Minnesota :(

You should snowboard Beaver Creek! Lots of oppurtunities for jumps and a great terrain park.

It was so icy on some of the runs my board would just slip out under me when I go for a heel side carve. It's brutal.

I got those goggles because of this channel. Grabbed two different lenses for different light and they work great. The design and anti fog coating have left me fog free even on water days. Only two cons are the lenses scratch fairly easily and the lenses will pop out if you smack your head REALLY hard. I definitely will say they are an excellent value for budget goggles

From 10.34, your toe side carve is *beautiful*, the edge goes in early and you just ride it - but your heel side is a bit kicky and skiddy. 😉

How are the prices for day passes that high? There are way bigger resorts in the alps and the most expensive ticket is may 90€ for like 300-400km of nice snow save runs. Normally you pay about 50€-60€ for the big ski areas, I don’t get it.

I love ure vids and i tried to learn snowboarding and i got it and im going with class snowboarding im so excited and i watched all ure vids and there so cool and i cant stop thinking to go snowboarding 😂😂

Tottaly agree with practicing one foot riding. After teaching for 3 years and being one footed most of the time, I can confidentally ride down most runs with only one foot in.

Its such a strange injury to have and it can have varying levels of "nope" depending on how hard you slam too. Ive never broken my coccyx but based on bruising it a few times i dont think i would ever want to break it. 😑
