I lost my dad to cancer in 2007 when I was just 4. 15 years later, it still hurts. Somehow, listening to this song makes me feel like I'm not alone in this journey of grief. Thank you for this.

I lost my grandmother to Covid in 2021, and I still think about her every day. Every word of this song resonates with me, reminding me of her. She was religious, and we used to go to church on Sundays. I prayed to God while she was sick, hoping for her recovery. However, she passed away in just 4 days, and I couldn't say goodbye to her. Losing her shattered my faith because I had believed in both her recovery and in God. Even after 3 years, I'm still trying to find my way back to God, but it's a struggle, especially when memories of my grandma resurface. I lost my grandma a few years ago and I think it'll always hurt to not have her but I know she's in heaven at peace and will always love me. This song was used for my late cousin who died recently. He was just 19 and a graduating student. His parents were devastated and we were shocked because he didn't do anything wrong. He was murdered by some soulless gangs. Whenever I heard this song, it reminds me of him and how his life was cut short. My cousin was full of dreams despite of difficulties he had in his life. He was loved by his friends and parents. We will miss him so much. He would forever live in our hearts wherever he is right now.

My stepdad who raised me, passed away from cancer 25 years ago and I'm still holding on to his memory. It hurts that he's not here to see who I've become and to be a grandpa to my children. I really miss him SO much!

I lost my big brother 11 years ago to mental illness. And, then my father two years later. This song reflects every morning waking up after they both died. I lost my grandfather when I was 5 years old and three days after my birthday. 10 years after that I just lost my grandma 6 weeks ago and my great uncle 5 weeks after I lost my grandma. same, I lost my grandfather 7 years ago who I alway run and hug him every time I visited him, I was going through a hard time because my ex best friends betrayed me and my grandmother died 20 years ago, she was suffering so much. I also lost my aunt 15 years ago because we let her died. I’m so sorry for your lost, I understand how hard you have been through without them but one day someone has to died which is normal. The same, I lost my grandfather a month before I turned 8, and my world shattered, then a couple years ago my grandmother left to join him, it took me 28 years to finally decide to say goodbye forever and start to heal, I still miss both of them, but the pain finally started to diminish and the anchor that I had to the pain of his passing I finally broke it and started to move on.
