Been a sub for awhile but first time commenting but I’m a Canadian boy and so are pioneers but I’m surprised they didn’t use Robertson screws lmao Great job Harvey! Those saws are amazing!!!

I cant speak for nobody but myself but I have learned from virtually little about 2strokes to multiple builds, porting, whole 9, I owe it all to you uncle harve I've followed u step by step not only on saws but as a mentor of sorts too you have done an excellent job, and I know u were, are like me about the elections n all but you keeping the channel free of politics is so refreshing...thanks for everything friend if you ever come near NC...

Just so you know I watch your videos to the end even though I am not a saw guy. I like seeing what can be done and have learned a lot about 2 cycle ignition engines from these videos. In case your wondering why someone that is not a saw guy would be interested in these engines, I have some model engines that are 2 stroke and the principle is the same for all of them. Besides learning is fun and the stories make it interesting.

Till the end, I just got in from milling logs with my ported stihl 050av that I built last summer. Man that saw is a beast running a 41inch bar with full house

Love your chainsaw work iron horse I've worked in the forestry for over 35yrs and have done all of the work on saw myself shop here in New Zealand are very expensive parts are as well so I try keep cost down I have fixed many saw for people for free but have not built a hotsaw yet but I think I will soon keep up the good content IRONHORSE have a bit more time on my hands now had some bad accident in pass and I paying for than now that part and of forestry work and the drink you have a great day A B Burgess

I’ve been trying to get my hands on three vintage saws in particular.... all will be ported and polished and pull 32” bars out here in Washington state. Those saws are a clean Mac 10-10, homelite XL-12/XL-76, and last but certainly not least, a beautiful Pioneer P62 like that cherry example you’ve got on your bench... they just don’t make em like they used to!! We traded curves and style for plastic...
