Benoit Saint Denis - God of War

#BenoitSaintDenis #UFC #MMA
Benoît Saint Denis was born in Nîmes, on December 18, 1995 as the eldest of five brothers. His father was a French Army officer practising judo at a good level, and his mother was a teacher. Saint Denis practised judo in France and Germany from the age of 8 to 16 and earned a black belt. He also played football and rugby union in his youth.
Prior to his MMA career, Saint Denis was a member of the 1st Marine Infantry Paratroopers Regiment, a unit of the French Army Special Forces Command. He served as a French Special Air Service (SAS) operator in Mali during the war and more generally in West Africa, fighting terrorist groups. He was awarded the Medal of the Nation's gratitude and the Combatant's cross in September 2017. He left the army after five years of service in March 2019.
In September 2018, Saint Denis stood out among thirty fighters during a test organized by Daniel Woirin, a French coach renowned for having won three belts at UFC and two at Strikeforce with MMA champions Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida. Saint Denis, ending his contract with the army, decided to embark on a career as a professional MMA fighter early 2019. He gave himself two years to break through to the highest level in MMA. Two years was the time he had with his savings to train full time and get signed by the UFC.
He joined the Bulgarian Top Team of French manager Giom Peltier and won six fights in eleven months. Then the pace of the fights slowed down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With Daniel Woirin, he stayed undefeated and went eight wins by finish in middleweight, welterweight and super lightweight divisions, half of them at the Brave Combat Federation, where he ended up as the #1 Title contenter of the super lightweight division at the time he accepted to join the UFC.
Benoît Saint Denis (born 18 December 1995) is a French professional mixed martial artist who competes in the lightweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

He'll come back stronger. He has all the physical attributes of an elite fighter.

Easily hit and questionable cardio aren't attributes of an elite fighter. Dude was overrated bc he beat a bunch of nobodies

Terrible take dude. He got outclassed last night for sure but the cardio was an issue from the staph infection. The longest fight that he had against Thiago Moises he pushed a way crazier pace and at the end of the second round when the fight was stopped he didn't look anywhere near as tired. He has a bad habit with his striking, the more he fixes that up the more dangerous he becomes cause his grappling is already extremely good

So u said same thing about gaethje when he lost to alvarez and poirier right ? Amazing take then seeing where he is now when he fixed his standup and how he approach fights. Well Bsd is the exact same type of warrior and fighter so i dont worry he will end top 5 soon and be an amazing fighter in the future, and tbh, would love to make him fight Gamrot to proove it @@5Waya

@@5WayaHe was beating Poirier for that first round, then he got tired and got caught. He has shit to work on. So what? How about you shut your mouth and go work on your own shit instead of being a critic
He put a lot of pressure on Dustin early but diamonds are made under pressure. Hopefully Benoit takes this as a tough lesson on not keeping your chin up high and the need to have good defense. If he develops some head movement and a guard like Dustin's he'll come back better than ever.

Dustin will never hold the real belt. He's a salty individual
My favorite fighter ever. Total war win or lose when he steps in the cage. Enjoy him while hes here
Amazing video as always 🔥
Fantastic video!
I love that you follow the wins and losses of fighters . Too many ppl who watch this sport have this all or nothing mentality. Like if a fighter isn’t undefeated or once they end their win streak they are washed. Couldn’t be further from the truth. What if ppl treated football or other team sports like that? The fight game is crazy and like nothing else that’s why we love it
Was happy forDustin and sad for Benoit at the same time, one of those feelings…
Fantastic video
I don't like commenting... But I had to for this guy. The way he fights... he hunts for the finish until the end. Even in his losses he's never the prey, always the predator. And DP was the perfect loss for him, he needs more ways to win exchanges in the pocket. Hopefully this loss to DP develops him the way the loss to Alverez developed Gaethje

Exactly, i have no fear for him to be top5 in a year or 2, loose like that will be him better exactly like Gaethje with en even scarier ground game that fits perfectly this division in UFC
This was fucking awesome
I was waiting for this edit but it came at the rong time 😢😢😢. Still a good edit though
A little bit late bro 😢

Good ass video whoever made this needs a promotion!
Interesting timing on this upload. EFC must've planned for BSD to get the win last night. He let the hype get to his head and tried to make too big of a jump in competition, too quick, and paid the price for that. I'm sure he'll make it to the top of the division in the future, but he's not ready for it yet.

I had most of it complete, was waiting for the Dustin fight. After watching all of BSD’s fights I had a feeling Dustin would KO him. He leaves himself open a lot like in his UFC Debut.
He will be back . He just ran into a buzzsaw a little too early In his career

While I was making the video I felt Dustin was going to win. BSD leaves himself too open for someone like Dustin.
He is definitely a soldier but Dustin it’s a real fighter . Congrats still for facing the Diamond but just it wasn’t his moment
What is the song at the end of the video please ?
Bro please make one on The Diamond please
The song used for the poirier fight is so good! What's it called?
BSD will be a top 5 fighter in 2 or 3 years, just not now. I think a lot of people forget that Justin Gaethje went 1-2 getting KO'd in both losses to start his UFC career and since has only lost to the champion.
I know it goes against the point of the video but, 25:19 man Dustin's facial expression rlly made me smile that man knew he'd just done something spectacular
He has great potential. He is big for lighweight like makachev. Good wrestling skills and agression but he need to work on his boxing and defense. He remind a lot justin gaethje at his debut
whats the music for the porier fight?

hi
Vaaaaaamos Diamante nomaaaaas 👊💪💎
