wow im high! ok I got the trick. Cost of donut he ask! riddle wants you to take the 2$ and add the 20 cets, but that’s incorrect formula! and riddler knows its coming! It’s subtraction when finding the right answer! for the first one thats definitely 2.00 (2 dollars more from juice = 20 cents making the items all together $2.20) separating both the 2.00 and the .20. if where talking literally. now if where talking about differences (differences mean subtraction) so for the 2 one just literally take away the .20 cents ($1.80) but he definitely did change up the question rq. But a bit further the answer for the first question is indeed 2.10 (2.10 dollars more adding from the juice .10) .10 + 2.10 = 2.20 making that juice .10 but benny didn't catch it. And thats breaking it even to come out with 2.20

It's easy when u think of two variables (X and Y) and form an equation: Let's assume Juice = X and Donut = Y, then X + Y = 2.20$. But Donut = (X + 2)$ So, (X+2) + X = 2.20 2X + 2 = 2.20 2X = (2.20 - 2) 2X = 0.20 X = 0.20/2 X = 0.10$ or 10 cents Hence, Juice = 0.10$ Donut = (X + 2)$ = (0.10 + 2)$ = 2.10$ (Two Dollers Ten Cents)

In these questions add both costs or subtract both costs and divide by 2. You will get cost of one of the products. Like in this case 2.20+2=4.20 now divided by 2, we get 2.10. Donut is 2.10 and remaining .10 cents is the juice...

The 1.80 came from his explaining why it's incorrect to say the juice is 0.20 and the donut is 2.00 as their difference would be 1.80. The correct answer is the donut is 2.10 and the juice is 0.10 and their difference is 2.00.

For all the slow people like me. Let me break it down for you. Total price $2.20 Donut 2 dollar more Logically if donut is $2 more, the juice has to be $0.00. But since the total is $2.20, and the conclusion is $2 more; you can assume the juice is $0.10 cents as if you minus $2.10 and $0.10, then it leaves you with $2.00

Agreed the constant is the price of the juice and more would indicate in addition to the cost of the juice otherwise 2.00 would be incorrect . We have almost all of the variables were basically solving for x which is the total.

Bro it's very simple. If you say the donut is 2 dollars more than the juice, and you say the juice is 20 cent, that means your donut cost is 2.2 dollars, if you add the juice which is 20 cent, the total cost will be 2.4 dollars, which is incorrect. Therefore, if the juice is 10 cent, and the donut is 2 dollars more, that means the donut cost is 2.1 cent, and with the juice which is 10 cent, you get 2.20 dollars. And that's the only correct answer
