As a Bangladeshi Bangali I do not mind. If heart land of Bengal is forgotten in this video; so what. At least it will make some ultra right wing RSS people happy. Actually, Bangladesh represents the oppressed low caste Hindus and the oppressed low caste Hindus who later on converted to Islam. We tend to forget that the high caste Bangali land lords used to have their palaces in Kolkata and from there they used to rule the poor East Bangalis as the Jamindars or Land Lords. Those oppressed Bangalis supported the Pakistan movement to seek some breathing space and freedom from the powerful Hindu Land Lords of West Bengal. So we decided to be part of East Pakistan. But then we have noticed West Pakistanis want to be our rulers too. So, in 1971 East Bengal or East Pakistan became my beautiful Bangladesh. No doubt India helped us 1971; but we East Bengalis also helped Indian freedom from the British Rule. A lot of Indians tend to forget that. Since Independence Bangladesh is progressing. Now, we should do more business with India and Pakistan. But we Bangladeshis must keep our distance from Indians and Pakistanis at the same time; because they hate and look down on Bangladeshis. This is a fact. Bangladeshi tourism and import dependency with India must be reduced in the near future. We should have stronger border walls with India and grow our own cattle. We should strictly reduce any religious extremism at all cost. I do not want my beautiful Bangladesh to become the next Pakistan or Afghanistan. If you are dealing with history of Bengal then how can you avoid Bangladesh? Many of the great Bengali poets, scientists and social-reformers was born in Undivided Bengal. The national anthem of the two neighbouring countries India and Bangladesh was composed by Biswa Kobi Rabindranath Tagore( Janagana Mana and Amar Sonar Bangla respectively). West Bengal, Bangladesh shows similarities in food,costume and culture . Proud to be a part of Bengali- Indian family.❤❤

Not only the Videomaker but also maybe the majority of young Generation in West Bengal think differently than scholars, experienced and comparatively older ppl of West Bengal. In the comment section, someone introduced Bengali contribution to science and literature, wherein literature part, he mentioned Jibonondho Das, and Michel Madhusudhun Datta's names, but not Kazi Nazrul Islam. He divided Bengali intellectuals by Religion. And many are blaming, Bangladeshi are not Bengali.

For education, intellect, virtues and happiness, we can first tell them and keep reminding, and we can do this, keeping in mind that, all these are treasures of "GOD", and is indestructible. We are just the medium. But before we do that, reflection of all above, should be on our faces our living and our behaviour. Christians did this pretty regularly, but could not sustain, as their basis was earning from others. Muslims keep telling, by way of violence and viceful acts. Hindus are not able to do this, as they don't know the responsibilities, acts of their dieties. Once the above powers reflects on our actions and living, people will start following us, and we need not to keep them reminding.

দাদা অনেক কিছুই ভুল বলেছে এই ভিডিওটাতে। Bengali community র প্রকৃত জনক হলেন মহারাজাধিরাজ শশাঙ্ক ।ইলিয়াস শাহ বাঙালি জাতির জনক নন। কালকে বাংলা নববর্ষ, এই বাংলা নববর্ষের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা হলেন এই মহারাজ শশাঙ্ক। আর bengali community শ্রীলঙ্কা থেকে hunter gatherer হিসেবে আসেনি, সেটাও জেনে রাখুন। আর দাদা একটা অনুরোধ, দয়া করে এই ধরণের প্রোপাগান্ডা মূলক ভিডিওর প্রভাবে আসবেন না

@@simpleboy4392 আমি তো জানি বাংলার প্রকৃত জনক হলেন মহারাজধিরাজ শশাঙ্ক এবং তিনি বঙ্গাব্দের প্রচলন করেন । এখানে তো কোথাও সেটা অস্বীকার করেনি । উল্টে বলেছেন যে তিনি বঙ্গদেশ কে ঐক্যবদ্ধ করেন আর বলেছেন যে ইলিয়াস শাহ মুঘল দরবারে বাংলাকে স্বীকৃতি দেন । এর বহু আগেই মহরাজধিরাজ শশাঙ্ক বঙ্গদেশ স্থাপন করেন গৌড় কে রাজধানী করে ।

As a Bangladeshi Bangali I do not mind. If heart land of Bengal is forgotten in this video; so what. At least it will make some ultra right wing RSS people happy. Actually, Bangladesh represents the oppressed low caste Hindus and the oppressed low caste Hindus who later on converted to Islam. We tend to forget that the high caste Bangali land lords used to have their palaces in Kolkata and from there they used to rule the poor East Bangalis as the Jamindars or Land Lords. Those oppressed Bangalis supported the Pakistan movement to seek some breathing space and freedom from the powerful Hindu Land Lords of West Bengal. So we decided to be part of East Pakistan. But then we have noticed West Pakistanis want to be our rulers too. So, in 1971 East Bengal or East Pakistan became my beautiful Bangladesh. No doubt India helped us 1971; but we East Bengalis also helped Indian freedom from the British Rule. A lot of Indians tend to forget that. Since Independence Bangladesh is progressing. Now, we should do more business with India and Pakistan. But we Bangladeshis must keep our distance from Indians and Pakistanis at the same time; because they hate and look down on Bangladeshis. This is a fact. Bangladeshi tourism and import dependency with India must be reduced in the near future. We should have stronger border walls with India and grow our own cattle. We should strictly reduce any religious extremism at all cost. I do not want my beautiful Bangladesh to become the next Pakistan or Afghanistan. We should look towards the further east and try to follow Singapore and Malaysian model of economy and develop Bangladesh. Jodi tor dak shune keo naa ashe tobe ekla cholo re. The term Bangabda (Bangla year) is found too in two Shiva temples many centuries older than Akbar era, suggesting that a Bengali calendar existed long before Akbar's time. (Source: wikipedia)

You have made few mistakes. 1)Sri Lankans didn’t entered in Bengal, One king from Bengal (probably present west Bengal's Bakura's king won the Lanka & from there they called "Singhali") 2)You have just showed only West Bengal but that time undivided Bengal was actually (West Bengal + Present Bangladesh). History of Bengal is past now, bengalis are repeatedly accused as refugees as major part of Bengal is now Bangladesh, in Barak valley many cases are existing when people of Barak valley are harrassed in the name of NRC. Last year an old lady had to die of heart attack as she is from Birbhum district of West Bengal married to an army man Mr Chakraborty years back. She had three grown up daughters but her husband expired, in her life time she never taught to keep any proof of her birth back in birbhum. At present all her family members died and she had no papers and was harassaed by Assam govt , later she was put in detention camp like Nazi kept Jews in Germany she had a heart attack and died, many other such cases happens all the time in Barak valley, this is the gift we are getting for doing maximum freedom fight.

They are giving up their own language and culture and influenced by any other community who are florishing due to more economical base without suffering from Indian partition , travel in New Delhi you will find least name of Bengali freedom fighters are used for the name of a place, higest is you will find no place or road named after Bipin Chandra Pal a giant leader in Indian History !!!!!! How many IAS officers are bengali now a days? How many Bengali ministers are there in union cabinet ? What percent of west bengal police, Assam police and Delhi police where Bengali is a significant population are existing ? A few name in novel prize does not fulfill the excellence in all fields that Bengali enjoyed 100 years back. We are fourth population of the world.

You are right but talking different matter. I know they are trying to demolish us but still Bengali is doing well. Our fertilization rate is low. Many bengali people has either one kid or no kid. Maximum no kid. Thats main reason.

@@CreativeDeveloper the fertilization rate is less of only Hindu Bengali not muslims, more over by choice many remain out side marriage , most of the one kid or no child kid is intentional, I agree this will reduce the population but right now more than quantity , quality is posing maximam problem.

Assam was never a part of Bengal but some parts of Bengal was part of Assam including Cooch Beehar which was previously a part of Konch Kingdom that belonged to Assam . Get your facts right !

Also why did u add Jibonanonda Das [ Barishal] , Micheal Madhusudan Dutt [Joshor] , Jagadish Chandra Boss {Bikrampur] were an Bangladeshi and there parents r from Bangladesh they has been raised in Bangladesh Most of the Bangali People of west Bangle r rich Bangladeshi hindus After 1968 pak-india war most of the Bangladeshi people saw that Pakistani army is rapped , Genocide, taking away lands so 80% of the Rich people {even Muslims} has gone to the west bangle and after the independence 1971 they had never came back to Bangladesh cause they thought there is no possibility of gold Bangla so we better stay in India for ever . But the poor and patriotic people stayed in Bangladesh . Rabi Thakur never loved the Bangali people even he wanted to make Hindi the mother tongue even though he was a Bangli Hindu.

Informative and factual content which clarifies the importance of our history and contribution towards the world and thus it defines our culture, the reason of flexibility (not being orthodox) in nature and always paying equal importance to every issues irrespective group, clan etc. & maintaining peace & prosperity inspite of some barriers till today. ❤️

Bengali are not indian. They are Bangladeshi. Bangladesh mean land of Bengali. Majority Bengali are from 🇧🇩. I’m from north Bengal but I pefer myself calling Bangladeshi or Bengali. Bc we share more culture with Bangladesh then rest of India.

As a Bangladeshi Bangali I do not mind. If heart land of Bengal is forgotten in this video; so what. At least it will make some ultra right wing RSS people happy. Actually, Bangladesh represents the oppressed low caste Hindus and the oppressed low caste Hindus who later on converted to Islam. We tend to forget that the high caste Bangali land lords used to have their palaces in Kolkata and from there they used to rule the poor East Bangalis as the Jamindars or Land Lords. Those oppressed Bangalis supported the Pakistan movement to seek some breathing space and freedom from the powerful Hindu Land Lords of West Bengal. So we decided to be part of East Pakistan. But then we have noticed West Pakistanis want to be our rulers too. So, in 1971 East Bengal or East Pakistan became my beautiful Bangladesh. No doubt India helped us 1971; but we East Bengalis also helped Indian freedom from the British Rule. A lot of Indians tend to forget that. Since Independence Bangladesh is progressing. Now, we should do more business with India and Pakistan. But we Bangladeshis must keep our distance from Indians and Pakistanis at the same time; because they hate and look down on Bangladeshis. This is a fact. Bangladeshi tourism and import dependency with India must be reduced in the near future. We should have stronger border walls with India and grow our own cattle. We should strictly reduce any religious extremism at all cost. I do not want my beautiful Bangladesh to become the next Pakistan or Afghanistan. We should look towards the further east and try to follow Singapore and Malaysian model of economy and develop Bangladesh. Jodi tor dak shune keo naa ashe tobe ekla cholo re.
