Benelli TRK 502X - Was it a Good Buy or is it Good Bye - A Review of my Time With it so far
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
I bought this Benelli TRK 502 x a few months ago as a possible replacement for my Ducati Multistrada 1200 DVT. There are things I like, and thinks I'm not so keen on. But what's my overall impression of it, and will I hang on to it for a bit longer.

I've had my 2019 TRK502X about 3 years, just coming up to 10,000 miles and can't fault it. I'm 62 and only 5' 7" and 77 kg but find it no trouble weight or height wise. It'll pull in 6th gear quite nicely from 40 mph which some larger bikes won't, I work servicing and repairing bikes and ride everything and anything much more powerful but I must admit this does it all for me. I'm no bike snob as in the past as a teenager and into my early 20s I rode an MZ 250 and put 85000 miles on it so I'm no stranger to different bikes . The Benelli is so comfy and inoffensive and does what it says on the tin.

You've summed it up really well there ' comfy and inoffensive and does what it says on the tin'.
Just got my TRK502x here in Perth Australia and love it, understand the power side but I don’t really need it too much anymore. 👍😎

There's definitely enough power for day to day riding, enjoy your bike 👍
Hi Ivor, Got myself a 22 plate one about a month past absolutely love it . Also have a a Triumph 1050 but the Benelli is much more practical for me . Still love the power from the Triumph but just like you said in this video ride the Benelli for what it is , a 500cc bike. I like the refreshingly honesty of your videos and a big thank you for all the work that goes into them , cheers Ivor 👍

I'm not surprised, they're brilliant bikes.
I first became aware of the Benelli TRK 502X via WestonSuperMotoVlog. He really gave it a thumbs up. It would, I think be a great first big bike that is cheap to run. Nonetheless I keep looking out for a mint ZX12r like I had in 2004🤣

I've seen his review, it's really good. I've always hankered after a zx12r, especially a black and gold one. I've been close a couple of times.
702 ? More power .
It’s been of road winter coming up first service I dropped it couple times but heavy

Oh no, I hope those crash bars did their job ok
Is it a good starter bike? I am a Tall person and wanted a bigger bike that didn't have a TON of power.

Yes definitely. The power isn't very intimidating, it pulls smoothly all through the rev range in each gear. It's a bit top heavy, but that's something you'd have to get used to regardless of your experience.

@@ivy-mac Thanks!
I,v heard comments on the engine reliability of this bike and the 702... what do you think? (it maybe just s***talk)
@ivy-mac

I think it is just s***talk. I haven't heard any more negativity about reliability than I've heard about any other bike. I've never had any issues with mine 👍
I just brought one

Yeah, I'm annoyed about that, the microphone had come out of the GoPro.
Why the letterboxed video?

I was using two different cameras, I didn't realise they were on different aspect ratios.
