Great review Cager.Lots of reviewers can give us an informative yet boring review but when you are enjoying yourself and the emotion and passion come through it makes it truly fun to watch. I'm glad that you reviewed this one as I was wondering how the bikes would be when I read of this Italian brand yet Chinese manufactured bike.Sounds like that combination is working out pretty well.

Cager’s this review just made me buy the Benelli TNT300 here in India in 2016! His Fun component in this video guess rubbed off too much on me and when I test rode the TNT300 I was in love with the eargasmic sound, the smoothness of the engine and weight which I actually loved. Rev her to the extremes and she screams at even cars to get out of the way, and they do thinking it’s a much bigger engine bike coming up behind. Alas, had to sell her eventually but still carry real fond memories of the rides on her...! Still miss her, my Pocket Tornado.

I wish Aprilia or KTM or somebody would make a V twin 250-500, all the options are either parallel twins or thumpers. This sounds better than most, but I hate that boring farty sound of most inline 2s. There's the Hyosung GT250, which is a really good bike, but it's very basic and that GS500 frame is heavy. If Aprilia could rework their SXV engine to be more reliable and less maintenance heavy and stick it in something similar to the old RS250's frame with trick suspension it would destroy the rest of the class.

@CadgerOnTwoWheels Ignoring the price difference, which is better, Benelli 302 or Yamaha MT-03? Thanks.

I have done 5000km on my MT-03 and it's great. The engine is torquey for it's size, and it pulls 6th gear from 45kph. The KTM probably has some more oomph, but I saw one in a petrol station, and the engine sounded like a bag of nails, plus the rider couldn't open the filler cap. I have read they overheat too.

Well the thing is , nobody knows if Benelli makes reliable bikes and that is a problem . You definitely don't want a bike that breaks down all the time . Moreover , watch 12:53 , while he is braking the bike starts trembling ... I don't like that ... I would go for an MT-03 or R3 (which alse come with ABS) even though the price difference is big . I saw that you have Mt-03 and I am so damn jealous ! My next bike will be a 300 (MT-03 or R3) or 500 (cbr500 or 500X) , I am not the fast riding kind of guy . Ride safe !
