    Hello. Your videos are a gold mine for immigration information and procedures. Good job with all the good karma you will be gathering with all these videos. I would like to suggest a video idea: If you could make a video that shows the timelines of various documents required and at what stages of the process from start to finish i.e. from checking eligibility to landing in Canada and the approximate duration it takes to obtain each document from their various sources. A visual form of this information will be extremely helpful for anyone trying to understand the complexity of immigrating. Cheers man! and keep up the good work. God Bless.

    just an opinion, after living for 7 yrs, what I understood is. Australia is vast land and beautiful country with better government systems. but all these things does not contribute in your happiness or prosperity of life. specially if you have spent your childhood and youth in your own country with family and people. and you come into a dirrent country and environment that everything is different.As a migrant myself i have lived with indian boyz too , they spend all day at work and the remaining day at fon to talk to their family in overseas, or sitting in a corner of dark room. they have education but still working as low wage labour, they have money, but can't spend, government owns your kids, banks own your house, wife with no family value, she can kick u out if she wants to and after devoting your 10 yrs of your life, you realise u can not even go back to your country. Because nothing will be same as they were before.Neither your family commitment will let you do that. REST OF YOUR LIFE you are compel to live in australia and work in a factory like a slave or machine , pay large amount of tax,pay mortgage and deal with racism, discrimination,unacceptance for being different (no matter if you have citizenship) until your are not dead in a age care facility(possibly alone). RIP

  • @Dev.85

    @Dev.85

    5 жыл бұрын

    I am not a migrant and I understand there are concerns with discrimination, racism, acceptance etc but here is the thing. Look at it from my perspective as an Australian, I do not discriminate against colour or background but when you have migrants adopting your country as their home but are refusing to assimilate with the rest of Australian society you will be shunned. If you want our acceptance you, as the person who has chosen our country as home, need to accept that you are no longer living in your homeland. We are multicultural, every single culture here discriminates against the other for whatever reason and a lot of that comes down to how those people were raised in those cultures. I have Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian etc friends but they are also people who embraced Australia as home and not just place they choose to live. Many come here expecting that things will remain as they did where they came from, it's a culture shock and as a result we now have pockets of Chinese, Indian, Korean and Vietnamese communities and they keep to themselves. Some don't even know enough English to communiciate if any at all but we are expected to accomodate this. When you assimilate, when you work to be a part of the community then you will be respected. As for slave labour working conditions well, they are an illegal practice and people have been caught out. I remember reading about a Korean or Chinese business that employed foreign students and paid them below minimum wage because the students had no idea they were legally entitled to the minimum wage.

    @@Dev.85 lake of assimilation is just an excuse. it is about fear of being over taken. 2ndly, ppl do not have to forget their culture and everything in order to live in Australia. this is in constitution even. most of migrants spend thousands to greedy TAFFs only to learn a language(english). just because some ppl expect them to speak with zero grammar mistakes and fluent. 3rd, no one is begging for acceptance. ppl all cultures should think and understand, it is ppl who make a dry land a country.and They are all going to live on this land for many generations and . are they going to live and build this country together as team? or they are going to hate each other and get divided in the name of white, black, muslim, asians, with no positive outcome ?

    @hazan ali I agree with you. It's really hard to live in Australia. Although i have more qualifications than my colleagues, those year 12 graduates who earned their positions because of lack, they thought that I'm idiot and belittled me most of tge times. I have to fight for my rights in my work and after 3 years, i just earned the respect that i deserved! You know, Australia cannot demand to their immigrants to embrace their culture where I cannot find any `Australian culture` in the first place! My country has more culture than Australia. This country is a melting pot of cultures, and this is a great thing. What Australia has is a pseudo-culture.

    Suman C.P since your wife and yourself are only PR your little girl can not obtain an Australian passport if she were to travel she will be traveling with a passport from her parents country of birth unless she obtains her own certificate of citizenship, she will have to apply for the certificate. If you were born in Australia on or after 20 August 1986 and one (or both) of your parents was an Australian permanent resident, YOU MUST PROVIDE evidence of your OWN Australian citizenship with a citizenship certificate issued by the Department of Home Affairs. The Department of Home Affairs website provides information on how to apply for evidence of Australian citizenship. All the above information can be found by clicking on the link below and once in the website scroll down to almost the second last paragraph www.passports.gov.au/passports-explained/how-apply/eligibility-citizenship-and-identity/confirming-your-australian (if the link does not work you can copy and paste on your wed address bar)

    Hi Sheetanshu.. Thanks for the series on Australian immigration. In ur previous video on Australian immigration , the skilled occupation list does not have any occupation that describes a ' teacher or tutor or lecturer' at college level. As my husband will be the main applicant n he is an Assistant Professor in psychology. He has also got a PhD degree n 3 years of experience. Neither I found any occupation related to social work as he has also got experience in social field prior to this teaching job. He has also got 7.5 overall bands in IELTS. My sister is also in Australia for the last 5 years n she is a PR holder. Do we still hv any chance of settling in Australia on permanent basis. Or should we continue trying for Canadian Immigration only.

    Propaganda to encourage more people to spend money on immigration industry. These countries have a cap for granting PR, if the whole world started planning only a limited number will succeed, the rest will waste valuable amount of cash.

    achu r I knew a guy in Australia who tried to sponsor his brother from Hong Kong, and the sponsorship visa failed them. He lost $13,000.- in non refundable fees. Better make sure he’s meeting the points requirements. The more funds you have, the better the chances. It’s all about the money it seems.

    Your PR is indefinite. If you leave Australia for holiday etc you must have a Resident Return Visa (RRV)... these are issued for one year or five years, based on the actual time you have resided in Australia. If you do not leave the country, you do not need an RRV and there is NO requirement to renew your indefinite PR.
